My experience was good up until I had interaction with the associates that work there. My mom and her bestfriend are very crafty people and had been looking for the little 3 pack notebooks for while but couldn't find them anymore. When my mom had found them at this dollar store she was very happy and excited. She actually decided to clean the store out and buy all of them. There were four notebooks that were out of the packaging but she decide to get them as well. We both figured that the cashier would just ring them up as a pack of three. We get up to the cashier and my mom asks the cashier how she is and starts talking to her. This cashier's name was Sandra and she decided that she was just going ignore my mom and just look at her. She never said hi and she never said bye. When she was done with my mom, she once again said nothing to me and just started ringing out my items. She had a lot of attitude and I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was just having a bad day. Hold on to your seats, it gets worse. My mom and I then go back to the car when we realize that Mrs. Sandra here charged us a dollar for each of those single notebooks that were out of the packaging. No big deal, people make mistakes. We go back in and explain the situation to her politely and she immediately gets all defensive and says "Well I didn't know they were a pack of three." Sandra you rung out 21 packs of THREE pack notebooks and didn't realize that the ones you put in as "Misc" were also supposed to be a pack of three ? Uhm okay. She then tells us she can't do anything about it and RUDLEY points to Samuel, another associate and says "Go to the manager, he's right there." I was totally confused on what she wanted us to do because good ole Samuel was ringing out other customers and was busy at the moment while Sandra was doing.. I don't even know. I then ask her if she could call him over and ring out customers because she was doing nothing. She then insist that we just go over to him. Samuel then walks over towards us to blow up a balloon and ignores us and Sandra doesn't take it upon herself to explain what was going on. My mom then says "Mr. Manager ?" and I say "We have an issue and would like to talk to you." Samuel then looks back at us and just smirks. He then rings out a couple more customers while we are still standing up front waiting. I then decide to go over to Samuel and tell him he should turn out his light and send customers to Sandra since she was still doing nothing and he was supposedly the manager. He just smirks at me again so I say "Or did you want us to get in your line?" and he says "I guess." Why didn't he say that ? We then wait in his line while another customer behind us tells us everyone is rude at that dollar tree. We finally get up to Samuel and I give him the receipt I tell him it was Sandra's mistake and we just want to return the loose notebooks since it is such a problem. He says he can't do returns and only exchanges. So in reality he could have exchanged the books for the books once again and price modified it to the right price if that was the issue. But no, my mom got tired of Sandra and Samuels attitude and decided to just exchange them for something else. If Samuel actually is the manager he is so unprofessional an doesn't deserve that title. He acted like he was a new hire and someone at dollar tree just felt like giving him the manager position. Sandra and Samuel, you seriously disappoint. The place doesn't make the place, the people do. I would much rather go to a disorganized dollar tree with nice people instead of a fancy dollar tree with nasty people. But of course this dollar tree was disorganized and had nasty people, so there's that. I will not be going back to...

It should be a safety hazard just walking into this store, merchandise is all over the place you can't get down the aisles. And to top it off Ms. Lori is extremely rude she said " don't put that there, this line ain't open. Look at the lights" and when I looked shocked she said oh she one of them. But she was standing talking to a friend and had an attitude when we were ready to check out. Never again I'll keep driving and spend my...
