Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Camden

Today, I decided to treat myself to breakfast at Tropical Cafe. I was taken care of by the store manager, Comomun. (Sorry if I misspelled your name) for the most part, the staff is professional and polite. However

1. I had asked if I could switch the chips in my order; one staff member was willing to do so, but Ariana then said that in the future not to make this request as they are not allowed due to their register system. I did not want to break the rules, so I told her no problem and returned my original chips from my order.
2. Ariana was handling my drink order, and when I received it, I realized I had an extra drink. I called her back and waited for her return to return the drink to her. To only be met with an attitude and not even a thank you. This was upsetting as I felt Ariana was setting me up to leave with someone's drink. Maybe not, but a (Thank you) would have been enough for the error (YOU COMMITTED). To the online orderer, you're welcome 😁, I hope I made your day.

Ariana, if you are having a bad day, that's not my problem! Or anyone else, for that matter. I dont think I was rude or nasty to you or anyone from this store, yet you felt the need to be rude and unprofessional. Greatly advise you to look for a desk job where you don't have to deal with the public, you would do us all a fantastic service in this manner. I would not want you ever as a server, and should I reconsider ever returning to the store, I would ensure you are nowhere near my order.

I spoke with the store manager again, who took responsibility for apologizing on behalf of his staff. I thank him and his leadership for doing so. I am a faithful customer of tropical smoothie since they opened . I patronize Specifically the Camden location 5 times per week if not everyday. In the last 6-8 months I’ve noticed a decline in the quality of service as well as the accuracy of the orders. Which is why I rated it with 3 stars. Formally it would have been five. In my opinion this is do to lack of Management, since Camuron Young’s departure . Camuron and his staff always greeted his customers by name. Made you feel welcomed as well as appreciated. Never had I experienced my orders not being correct or not greeted with a smile. Cameron held the staff to the same standard he held himself. Making sure the level of service was beyond satisfactory . The new staff barely speaks , and orders have not been accurate this may be due to a language barrier. For this reason myself as well as others I know in the community have been going to the Dover location which is inconvenient. I’m dropping a 2 star because the guy who said he was the GM working in there made me feel very uncomfortable when I first walked in his attitude loudness and rudeness on the phone was unmatched. While I was there I’m assuming the young lady working is in college and she had the days she was available to work because of classes, would you believe this pos Gm said well when you got hired you was available for whenever after so if you not available for when I need you I guess you won’t be working here she didn’t reply back but just the energy he brings is diabolical. All the workers have good energy and excellent attitude but that guy is going to give this place a bad rep I don’t even plan on going back unless I know he is gone because the next time I’m stepping in.
