La Pizzeria Italian Pizza and Bar — Restaurant in Campbell

Most reasonably priced Italian restaurant in downtown Campbell. I had a cup of the soup of the day, pureed vegetables. Waiter said that was only selection at 7pm. However, right after I was served my soup, the waitress for the table next to me gave them another option of Lentil soup. Disappointed with my waiter. Soup was ok, actually tasted like tomato soup. I also ordered the prosciutto gamberi. 6 grilled shrimp wrapped with the thinly sliced Italian bacon. It was served over a small arugula and shredded carrot salad. I would have liked much better if they had said there were red pepper flakes in it. Again ir was the waitress on the next table who said the dressing was what contained the heat. Next time I won't get the dressing. The last of the savory part of my meal was a flat bread with rosemary and a litte cheese. Cheese seemed nonexistent, but the bread tasted delicious "without" it. For desert I had the cannoli with pastry cream and ricotta. It was lightly drizzled with chocolate and heavily sprinkled with powdered sugar, and on each end was a candied lemon slice. Very sweet! I was disappointed again when they told me there was no Bailey's for my Bailey's and coffee, after I was told they had a full bar. Settled for a regular coffee. If I had seen the desert menu first, I would have ordered the affogato instead. Check your bills! They tried to charge me for an Americano, not the coffee I ordered. Only about a dollar difference, but a dollar is a dollar. As usual, parking in downtown Campbell is always crowded, even at 7pm in the middle...

we ordered the food ahead of time, at around 4pm yesterday, scheduled a delivery time frame between 7:15pm to 7:30pm. since we haven't received the food by 7:30pm we called grub hub, they came in contact with the driver, and the food was delivered within 10mins after the call. when the food arrived, it was cold, which led me to believe that the order was prepared way ahead of time and was just left out to cool down. pizza wasn't cut which was fine, as the owner had mentioned on yelp that, that's how italians do it, and we have our own cutter so no biggy. then the owner responded on yelp saying my review is confusing and to ask me to show respect for the workers. this review reflects poorly on the management, not so much the workers. after this experience i read other reviews and apparently the place went downhill around 2018 because of change of ownership. also, it is probably not a good idea to order for delivery because a lot of people on yelp complaint about the...

I am speechless with the terrible service from the owner. I ordered a carpaccio which is very difficult to get in a restaurant. I was served a plate of cold meat, which all restaurants that have wine serve. I told the waiter that is not what I wanted the waiter was very polite, providing a great service, took the plate away. Minutes later came back and very embarrassed said that the meat in the plate was row. I said no it wasn’t. I showed him a picture of how a carpaccio must look. He apologized and left. Then minutes later the owner, a lady, came back with a really bad attitude and started defending her carpaccio showing me the menu, in a very rude and loud way. We put money on the table and left. It is terrible how the owner doesn’t have any idea about customer service, and she came to fight with me for a 15 dollar appetizer, which was really bad. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never go back. I will always remember this really bad experience and I will share it...
