Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Cape Coral

It's Friday and I didn't wanted to cook or go out for dinner. This is my go to pizza place for the quick food to fill my family up in the case. It's very easy to navigate and order whatever and however we like, no issue to use periodical coupons via online, and food was tasty until tonight.

I ordered two stuffed crust pizza. Ham/pineapple and chicken/tomato toppings. Ham pizza was great as usual but chicken pizza came with lots of burnt tomato. I wasn't into feeding burnt tomato to my family so went in this location dispite to my tired & lazy body wants to stay home all evening. When I stepped in, the entire crew came to see the pizza box I carried in.😲 My impression was they didn't care too much about burnt things. The manager wasn't too happy but she still baked me another pie.

For my disappointment, the 2nd batch came out similar again. However I just walked out with this burnt tomato topping knowing no use to bring it up. This is my favorite kind from pizza hut, and I have ordered numerous times in different locations but first in here. Don't know why but I never had this problem before. This was only the time I brought the pizza back to the store in 10 years of pizza hut membership I had.

One more thing, we had this student reward coupon for a personal pizza from school and asked to use it tonight. The expiration was passed couple days that I didn't see it clearly and I told the cashier it's okay not to honor but she still asked to manager about it and they accepted the coupon.

Aside this one bad experience, the customer service is good and the food we had so far was good as well, so I'll still order here in the future.

PS. I probably don't have enough experience to tell about it but the difference in my eyes between previous pizza and today's is the tomato was just sitting on the top of everything to be burnt today. Well baked ones had the tomato topping mixed well...

While I am usually a fan of this pizza hut my last visit has left me rethinking that position. Ordered my pizza online with the app before leaving work. Head to the store knowing I had plenty of time to get there, as it's a 25 minute drive, knowing pizza would be done well before I arrived. The app alerts me pizza is ready. I pull up and click I have arrived answer the questions about what vehicle I am in etc... wait for another 20 minutes still no pizza coming out. Finally call the store and ask them if they forgot about me. They say it will be right out. Another 10 minutes goes by and still no pizza. I can see all the employees in the store standing around. Watch 3 other people walk in and order pizzas and get served. Finally after an additional 5 minutes bringing my total time up to now 35 minutes. The pizza finally comes out and it's pitiful. They barely threw any toppings on to the pizza it's cut sloppy and there is barely any sauce. Total disappointment. What really upset me is the pizza oven takes exactly 12 minutes to cook the pizza. So there is no reasonable excuse other than poor management & employee training that led to this scenario happening on this visit. I will see how they do next week & give them another chance to see if this was a one...

Beware! The Pizza Hut in North Fort Myers that was ALWAYS ABSOLUTELY FILTHY (smelled, salad bar always disgusting, pizzas not good) has moved to Pine Island Road (across from Target) THEY WILL TELL YOU DIFFERENTLY!!! WHY, Would they tell you they are a different location when it's same phone #??? I know this because It is the same phone # & old address posted ALL OVER the web. The wrong address is still posted online... We went to pick up the pizzas at the original address and didn't Know they no longer existed on 41. Came home, called again & was told they were now on Pine Island Road, Manager "FRANK" was extremely RUDE & told me a bold face LIE!!! He insisted that they were a different store -- obviously NOT FRANK if you have the same phone # as the old store in North Fort Myers. Did not offer discount of any sort after we ran around for 1 hr, trying to figure out where we were to pick up the pizzas we ordered. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL & clearly doesn't have ANY experience in customer service whatsoever! THEY CLEARLY DO NOT WANT CUSTOMERS TO KNOW THEY ARE THE SAME PIZZA HUT THAT WAS ON 41 IN NORTH FORT MYERS... I believe more then likely they were cited too many times by the City Of Fort Myers, Health Department & also the State Of Florida...
