This is the last time I’m going to be ordering my coffee from here…. The past 3 days that I’ve been ordering from here are nothing but problems… the first time I ordered a HOT venti veranda blend… I grabbed it because it was a mobile order and as I was walking away I took a sip it was ice cold and disgusting. The worker saw me do this and asked me if it was OK I said no it’s ice cold and I ordered it hot and instead of saying a lot and let me take that back from you and I’ll make you a new one she was like do you want me to make you a new one because we don’t have any hot veranda blend? I was like are you serious? So she remade it and it was hot, but it didn’t taste like she got the flavor, right. The second time I got there I actually ordered in person. I told her exactly what I wanted and I could tell she forgot the white chocolate I asked for. the third time was just now and the girl that was making my coffee. She’s tall she has glasses. I looked at my sticker, made a comment and then walked over to a coworker and said, do you see all this that she wants in her coffee? Read moreThis place has gone downhill. Their drive thru sign doesn't display your order. The drinks taste burnt. It's a coffee shop but they want you to order your food first, like a few seconds will make any difference. So now it's just a fast food place - BUT they ask for tips - BUT it's a fast food restaurant, not fine dining, so I totally don't get that part. I always have to taste my drink before I leave in case it's wrong. I HATE having to go back and ask them to re-make it, I usually don't have the time anyway. Recently I ordered a vanilla latte and it had no vanilla in it, but you pay extra for the vanilla. I tasted it but thought maybe it just wasn't blended well, but anyway after tasting it a bit more I had to conclude there really was no vanilla in it. So I drove back and told the woman at the counter. I was pretty surprised at what she did, she pumped a bit of vanilla into a cup and asked me to pour it into the rest of my drink. Weird. I did it but that didn't help so I asked to remake it. That one was just right. But when you pay $7 for a cup of coffee it should be correct. I went through again today and it tasted like there was almost no vanilla and burnt. It's about time for me to pull out my espresso...
Read moreThis store has lost its charm, its service, and the quality of its coffee. Recently renovated by someone who must have been locked in solitary confinement since the 1960's, all the cozy comfortable atmosphere has been zapped away. It's now fake looking, dated, cramped, and the new furniture might well be the most uncomfortable and uninviting to sit in.
Prior to the renovation, staffing was decent. At peak times you'd have to wait. Now since they've renovated the place to be smaller than the International Space Station, it seems like they've cut staff, if for any other reason than they can't fit that many people behind the counter. The baristas look tired, frustrated, and burned out. I don't blame them. Wait times have gone up and they are frequently out of product and call ahead ordering is frequently unavailable.
The only thing wrong with the store prior to this terrible renovation idea was the awning over the drive thru always leaks. If you just washed or waxed your car, that was a hard no. You park and go inside.
Guess what? Since the renovation, the only thing that needed fixed - the awning - still leaks like...
