Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Great Cobb Salad! I go there just for that from time to time. But today...I ALMOST swore off of this well-respected food source. The drive-thru "system" they're using (at this location,anyway) leaves ALOT to be desired. 2 lanes of traffic being used. But when 1 lane is almost full. They sent me to it, instead of directing me to the shorter lane. While the youthful attendants were not paying attention. 2-3 cars behind me pulled in to that short lane. And got their order(s) taken before I ever got looked at. THEN..after my order was taken. I pull on through MY lane, to get my order handed to me. Lo and behold...the vehicle directly in front of me had to wait AN EXTENDED TIME getting their food. I had my order, but couldn't move! Looking to that "shorter line" that I spoke of earlier. Cars kept getting their orders and moving on out. Why in the World the car in front of me wasn't directed to move on over to a "holding spot" while waiting on their food, I'll never know! These lanes on coned-off, so you can't get out of line. But trust me! If this happens to me again. There's gonna be some orange cones get ran over! ALL "drive-thru" chains have this system set-up, for when the car in front's food isn't ready. They have them pull ahead to wait on their food. Or pull over to a "holding space" designated just FOR this instance. I have MUCH respect for this Christian-owned/based fast-food chain. But..another happening to me like what happened today. And I'll spend my money elsewhere. And let...

This place has been on point for a good while now! We order at least once a week, the food is always super good. We bounce around the menu often, we especially love when they have seasonal new menu items! Currently, the new Grilled Spicy Sandwich has been delicious and on point! I love customizing my items on the app too, so many options. The regular Grilled Club is always good choice as well, love the honey roast bbq sauce that comes with those sandwiches. I usually ask for that on the side for the fries and nuggets as well. Speaking of, the nuggets (grilled or fried) are always fresh and delicious as well as the fries. The original sandwiches, of course, are always a good item but special shoutout to their salads! I absolutely love customizing their salads! They are all delicious and so many options if you look at the dressings and toppings you can change in and out. Breakfast? Also good. Great biscuit sandwiches, love the mini nugget sandwiches, the burrito is actually pretty good as well! Wasn’t a fan of the salsa for dipping but the chick-fil-a sauce was a great dipping sauce for the burrito.

The service is always great when we pick up and the few times we’ve eaten in. We get catering to at least twice a year and they’re always very nice when picking up.

The location is always clean, they have a good amount of pick-up spots…have went during very busy times and have always been able to find one. The parking lot can be a little bit of a mad house but it’s handled pretty well by...

So this CFA has now reopened. I am going to start with the bad, I am guessing somewhere between 6-9 tables have been removed. No 6 tops exist anymore. They kept the kids playground which is great but inside feels like they don't want you to be there. Staff felt a bit pushy to get you out of your seat with refills so someone else can sit down. The worst part of the entire remodel is the area for third party delivery app people. They are rude and pushy and they all crowd right around where a booth is so if you are stuck there its just a stream of butts in your face while trying to eat because door dash and Uber drivers are generally rude people if you have interacted with them. Trash cans are only in 2 spots now since the condiments area has moved and is very small cart near the mobile order pickup.

The Good: staff was super friendly and was clearly very stressful during the first week of reopening. I belive I interacted with the owner who was incredibly generous with his time and attitude about my dining experience. Maybe it will slow down inside over time but normally this location is always busy. The food was very fresh and is consistent which is what you hope for from a quick service restaurant. I will continue to visit but I know that inside will always...
