I just wanted to take the time out to thank the amazing staff / family that is taken care of my wife and I throughout the years. The other day I found a ring for my wife that she was in love with. It was meant to replace her own engagement ring which unfortunately was lost. As usual when I showed up at Kay they greeted me with smiles they know my wife and I by name. The ring that she was so in love with ended up not working out. But they never faltered. They stayed with me like they always have and walked me through the process of picking out one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen. There was a jeweler on site and he helped my wife and I pick out the perfect setting and the perfect diamond. The staff /family never gave up on my wife's dream ring. The amount of love that goes into their customers is unprecedented. And not just one person but everybody at that store. After the entire store helped me pick out a setting, the Jeweler set the diamond for me while I waited and even sized it to fit my wife's hand which is very small. The conversations that we had while the ring was being made brought me to tears. They listen to how we unfortunately lost the first engagement ring and how it devastated my wife and I. I was truly heartbroken. But to be able to walk in and knowing the comfort that they provided and that they always provide is astonishing to me considering the day and age that we are in. They truly care about every single person that walks through that door. You are not just a customer you are celebrating a benchmark in your life and they take great pride in helping you along your journey. If you ever have the privilege visiting these amazing people at the store you will know what I'm talking about. From the moment you walk in. The Jeweler said to me that the ring was handcrafted and one-of-a-kind and I told him that I am very thankful because the woman who will be wearing it is one of a kind to me! Thank you to you and your staff for helping us along the way and being part of our Journey. I told them when I left that they had no clue what they have done. They made one of the most important people in my life the happiest she's ever been. We will always return to purchase from your store and to be reminded what true love really means. Thanks again and...
Read moreMy husband and I purchased his wedding band at this location back in August of 2022. They were eager to sell us a ring but not so eager to help when there were issues. Since we’ve purchased it, we’ve had to send his ring back 4 times to get serviced for a ring he only wears once in a while because of work (a “solid” gold ring has been turning colors). The first time it was sent in, the ring that was originally brushed in the middle came back completely polished. The second time we sent it back the ring seemed okay, that is until it started to tarnish again. The third time we sent it in the ring came back with brush marks in the opposite direction from when we bought it in. Which leads to the fourth time we had to send it in; it is still not correct but at this point the ring has been gone for over two months and we would just rather take it somewhere else. Every time we set foot in the store or call, we feel unwelcomed and are always given an attitude by anyone we have spoken to. The latest was Kristy. My husband called over the phone to check on the status of the ring and rather than asking for a service number or for our last name she responded with “they give you a guarantee by date.” Not considering that it could already be past that date… when we came into the store she made a big ordeal that I had all the receipts from the times we have had the ring serviced (I did not ask for them, they were given to me). When we gave her the receipt she responded with “well I’ll just take this back you guys really aren’t supposed to have this”. I’m not sure if it’s because we are in our twenties, but regardless, we are customers and need to be treated with respect. I’m incredibly disappointed with the customer service, the quality of the ring we purchased, and wherever they send the ring off to get fixed. It’s unfortunate that a large company like Kay would allow this behavior from their employees. I will not be a returning customer nor will I refer anyone to purchase from Kay, this store...
Read moreToday I went in for my ring cleaning service—mine and my husband’s. I had the worst experience of my life there today. I went in February for my usual cleaning, and the person who helped me was Dory. Everything went well, but she didn’t enter the cleaning into the system. Today, when I arrived for my cleaning, everything went from bad to worse. The attitude of the associate—who says she is a manager—named Christy was terrible. Since the February cleaning wasn’t entered into the system by Dory, Christy wanted to charge me for the repair of my ring. She basically called me a liar the entire time over a mistake that was made by their staff.
When I told her to check the cameras to confirm that I did have the cleaning done, she said no. I asked her to bring another manager, and she told me there was no one else. She said she would do the cleaning but that if any stones were missing, I would have to pay for the repair—and all of this with the worst attitude ever, even though the mistake was clearly made by associates at that store.
I’ve been shopping at other Kay stores for many years, but I’ve never had an experience like the one I had today at the Cape Coral store. “Terrible” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Awful service—I don’t know how they hire managers with such a...
