Five Below — Local services in Cape Coral

Just came from here. My daughter wanted to buy a charger for her phone because her charger broke, her birthday was recently so she had money she wanted to use, cash of course. We got into the store, she got a charger for her, her sister, a screen protector for her sister’s phone and headphones for school. We go up to the registers to pay, all of the registers said CARDS ONLY, except one and that one was closed. She was disappointed because she wanted to buy her stuff. She didn’t want me to pay for it, she likes to buy her stuff with her money, it makes her feel good. I don’t know if maybe it was due to issues with the registers or because they were closing in an hour. They should let people know as soon as they walk in that it’s ‘cards only’ when it is so people don’t waste their time in case they...

Everything went pretty smoothly. Great prices, even in the Beyond section. Friendly staff and just a great vibe. However, you want to get rid of the registers to have self-checkout, just to have staff breathe over you, choose options for you, and possibly make sure nothing gets stolen. My advice would be to bring back regular registers if you are that concerned about thieves. They marked down the 9 stars if I was satisfied, so regardless of their performance, they assume my experience was great. The lady rushed the transaction and had to start over when I told her cash. Terrible customer service. The lady at self checkout was extremely unprofessional and argumentative. I was having trouble with the machine. It froze after I used my card so I moved over to one to use cash. She raised her voice, waving her hands in the air, nodding her head and yelling at me telling me I should’ve asked for help. Please review your camera footage to see the body language of this woman. She shouldn’t be working in customer service. She argued with me all the way until I walked out the door, shouting from the register area in front of all customers and my eight-year-old son we come to this five below weekly...
