Nestled in the heart of Cape Coral, Heart and Soul Breakfast Restaurant has etched itself as a true gem for breakfast enthusiasts seeking a genuine and soul-satisfying dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared breakfast delights, set the tone for a remarkable morning.
The menu, a delightful blend of traditional favorites and creative twists, catered to a wide range of palates. From classic buttermilk pancakes that melted in your mouth to innovative avocado toast with a tangy twist, every dish seemed like a masterpiece crafted with love and precision. The Farm Fresh Omelette I ordered was a symphony of colors and flavors, generously packed with farm-fresh vegetables and perfectly melted cheese. The attention to detail was evident even in the presentation of the dishes, making each plate a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds.
The service was impeccable, with the staff exuding warmth and enthusiasm. Our server was well-versed with the menu, providing insightful recommendations that added a personalized touch to our dining experience. The pace of the service was just right - not rushed, allowing us to savor each bite, yet not slow enough to leave us waiting impatiently.
What truly stood out was the evident passion and dedication of the chefs. The commitment to using locally sourced ingredients and supporting the community showcased Heart and Soul's commitment to quality and sustainability. It was heartening to know that our dining experience contributed to a larger narrative of responsible dining.

Read moreHeart + Soul is a fantastic spot for breakfast, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. While the inside is on the smaller side, it still has a nice, comfortable feel. For those who prefer a little more space, they also have outdoor seating, which is a great option on a nice day. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which added to the overall pleasant experience.
The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. I had the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese. The waffle was light, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness, while the fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, seasoned to perfection. The scrambled eggs with cheese were creamy and flavorful, and the bacon was cooked just right—crispy and full of that classic smoky flavor. My wife went with the pancakes and bacon, along with a side of biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were thick, fluffy, and had a rich, buttery taste, making for the perfect bite. The biscuits and gravy were a standout—warm, soft biscuits smothered in a creamy, well-seasoned sausage gravy that had just the right balance of richness and flavor.
The portion sizes were generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. We left feeling full and satisfied, already talking about what we’d try next time. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a comfortable setting makes Heart + Soul a place we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality breakfast spot. We’ll...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to stop in for breakfast after this spot came highly recommended by a friend. We arrived and it took them 10 minutes to seat us at a table that was already clean about 10 feet inside the front entrance. We ordered coffee and that came to the table promptly. The coffee was fresh and tasted great. The waitress took about another 15 to 20 minutes to come back and take our orders. She rushed us through the order and did not appear to be listening to what we were saying. My wife even commented after the waitress left she felt like the order was going to come out wrong. After another 30 minutes or so of waiting for our food it finally came out. Lo and behold my wife was correct. I ordered wheat toast and got white (which for me is no big deal). My wife ordered an omelette and had them remove the peppers and add sauteed onions to her hashed browns. Her omelette came out with no peppers and no onions and they served her breakfast potatoes instead of hashed browns. Being that we had waited for a bit we decided not to send it back and just move on with the visit. As if things weren't bad enough half way into both of our omelettes we discovered that they were partially cooked and extremely runny in the middle. The sauteed onions on my wife's potatoes were also extremely burnt. This restaurant would have received 1 star had it not been for the best part of the breakfast which was the biscuits and gravy. They were superb. If all you want is an order of biscuits and gravy I would recommend this spot. For everything else...
