Authentic Sportswear — Local services in Cape May

Really disappointing trip, we visit this area every couple of years for the past 27 years and always look forward to day shopping in Cape May. Today was supposed to be a day to enjoy, we had a great lunch at the Ugly Mug and then started shopping, the first stop was Authentic Sportswear and that store managed to ruin my day. The lady at the desk did not want us in her store it seemed, she was rude, wouldn’t make eye contact, and didn’t speak one word to me even while I was standing in front of her paying until she had to say the total cost. She gave me the receipt and basically shooed me away with an eye roll. I regret spending money in that store but my daughter and I did get two cute but over priced long sleeve shirts. The service as well as the hospitality demonstrated by this established was absolutely preposterous. I was horrified by the prudence and arrogance of the workers. They sold my cousin and I fraudulent products. “Authentic” Sportswear openly advertises their lenient return policy. However, they failed to abide by or even comprise with the terms of our return. They don't take returns. Only exchanges.

Update: Response to owner's response. That's not the point. Just wanting people to be aware that unlike some other stores in Cape May, yours does not take returns.

And ... go elsewhere if you want friendly customer service. Rudest people ever! I'm sorry I gave them my money. Very upsetting. Won't go back....
