Where to start. Posh was not the first place I tried on wedding dresses, but luckily they became where I found my dream dress!! I unfortunately didn't have a great experience at another place and was a little nervous to try a different dress boutique but my hesitations were quickly dismissed once I got to chat with the owner Nedra, and the other amazing girls Jenna & Jillian! I went into Posh a few times to try on dresses and each time I went in, I was treated like a princess!! The girls took their time helping me try on the dresses, giving me honest opinions and tips, allowing me to try on whatever I wanted and was soooo patient in the process. I was so indecisive and kept trying on dresses until luckily I found the one! Jenna and Jillian were so professional, courteous, kind, hard working and truly made my bridal experience one I will hold and near and dear to my heart forever. I loved how Posh carried a range of different styles and even pricing too! I got to try on tons of different dresses until I found the one. And the dress I ended up going with was a little too tight and they were able to order one size up per their recommendation and it quickly arrived to the store a week later and fit like a glove! Not only me, but any time I had guests with me, they were treated with the same kindness as well. Jenna and Jillian felt like my friends rather than a pushy sales associate! They were also so knowledgeable which helped me to make my decision on which was the right dress for me! Posh has some short dresses as well as midi lengths too which is so cool because you can get a second dress to change into also from here.

Thank you Posh for being such a great example of how a bride should be treated during this special time. I felt confident and comfortable throughout the whole process and loved how they had veils, accessories and bouquets to use to truly envision yourself on your big day. I brought a bridesmaid dress here for altering. I had contacted them about the starting rate (quoted $100), so I figured it would be around $200 given the alterations I needed, the shop location and it being a wedding dress store. The seamstress was super nice and I liked how she adjusted my dress, which needed the straps shortened and a couple areas taken in. I was shocked to learn it was going to cost $400. I didn’t have time to take it to another place so I paid and figured my dress would be absolutely perfect for that rate. (Another bridesmaid got her dress done for about $150 at another shop, with even more alterations needed). I picked it up a week later, but I didn’t love how it fit - a couple areas didn’t look right, but she insisted it looked fine (the back of the dress now puffed out which it didn’t before). I insisted that she fix it because it didn’t look flattering and wasn’t how the dress sat before. It was also just a little snug - I could barely sit down in it without it needing to be shimmied upward. I don’t think my body grew in a matter of a week, but I guess it’s possible. Another week later I picked it up. The one area I asked to be fixed still seemed off, but I had no choice but to take it with me since the wedding was the next day. I know part of this was my fault in not giving myself ample time before the wedding to have it done. But I felt confident that given this price point the alterations would be perfect, but they weren’t. Found a Lillian West dress online that I loved and wanted to try on. Posh Brides came up as one of the local places that had it. I texted the number on their site to make sure they had it for me to try on and Posh Brides was very responsive. They responded within the hour confirming they had the dress and letting me know how much it was to make sure it fit within my budget.

During my appointment the bridal salon's owner, Nedra, took great care of me. I let her know which dress I wanted to try and she pulled a few off the rack for me to try that were a similar style. She also let us walk through the racks and pull more dresses for me to try. The whole appointment she was very responsive and answered all of our questions and explained the different patterns and fabrics on the dresses. Nedra even took the time to show us how the dresses would look in different lighting.

Overall I had a great time at Posh Brides & Grooms. Nedra and the rest of her staff are amazing and so kind and attentive. The salon itself is also beautiful and wonderfully set up. My group and I got our own little room with a changing room to try on dresses. It made it a more private experience which I really enjoyed. They also had a beautiful selection of dresses!
