Flashbacks Recycled Fashion — Local services in Carlsbad

The clothes here are great, the employees are not. My friends and I were super excited to visit the store, as we all love vintage clothing and do not live near this location. We came in close to their closing time, in which the store clerks were automatically unfriendly and told us we had five minutes to look through the store. I work a minimum wage job myself, so I understand what it is like to want to finish a shift. We started to go through the clothing racks, in which the girl at the register told my friend that if she wanted to purchase her item (which she had just picked up) she had to do it before 7. She was very rude, and her tone was incredibly passive aggressive. After paying, my friend very nicely asked if she could look through the handbags quickly. The clerk very rudely said no, even after my friend had just spent over 40 dollars in vintage clothing. The employees told us we needed to get out, which in my personal opinion defeats the entire purpose of good customer service. She then continues her dismissive attitude, saying “you can always come back tomorrow”. This was not in a friendly way. Like I mentioned in the beginning of my review, we don’t live here, so to say I am disappointed is an understatement. Not a good experience at all. Why are these employees not fired? If you see a girl in her early twenties, with a black hair bob and glasses, I am genuinely sorry for you. I think the owner should have a reevaluation on who they hire...

Was very disappointed, I came in with my electric scooter thats folda up and instead of getting hello they ask me to put my scooter outside and when I asked if I could leave it by the desk she was like "I can't be responsible for it" and I said I wasn't asking you to be responsible I just want to put it there so I can shop... she finally agreed. But after the rude welcoming it was hard to focus and I just got over being there don't really wanna spend my money around rude employees. The only reason I changed my rating from 2 to 3 stars was because the lady working the floor was polite and smiled when I left. Not sure I will b back, I just went to double take around the corner and spent my money there. Much more friendly...

Sold clothes. Person who went through items was curt when I asked questions about how long I should expect for it to take. She expressed that she had “No idea”. We were looking at 4 bags of clothes I brought to sell. When I walked up to the table to see if she was done because all 4 bags had been gone through. She was miffed and told me she would calle me when she was ready. How was I supposed to know? Last, after she paid me I said thank to which she did not respond. The worst customer service I’ve had in a long time. I would not go back nor would I recommend this place. There are better, more professional, and more clear on the process places to resell clothes....
