Cariloha Carmel — Local services in Carmel-by-the-Sea

This is going to sound like an episode from Seinfeld. I went in to Cariloha wondering if their pillow was on Oprah’s favorite things list. There was only one elderly woman lying in one of the beds. Thinking she was a customer I asked “is there anyone that works here?” She replied “I do.” This woman actually continued to lie in the bed the whole time while propagating a sales pitch about the pillow and the celebrities that endorse the product. Sorry if I interrupted her “nap time.” Cariloha should be informed of the laziness, disregard and disrespect this employee displayed while working for their company. My husband actually needed linen for his eczema because we knew they sold bamboo made linen, but we wanted to stop by and get donuts first. We have a 2 year old dog that gets very excited and the saleswoman at Cariloha kept incessantly harassing my husband telling him that my dog didn’t belong at the plaza and that we were the reason she couldn’t sell…. She kept leaving the store unattended to tell other business owners to kick my husband out but little did she know my husband came to the plaza just for their bedsheets! I came in here to browse menswear and was amazed at the variety of soft 100% bamboo clothing to choose from. The bamboo sheets and quilts are next on my list of "things I must purchase" here. Katie is beyond wonderful! She's truly one of those rare people that you meet that makes your entire day/week better after being in their presence.
