On 2/5/18 I went to get a frappacino while shopping and I greeted the black female employee. She didnt say anything back and never looked at me or smiled, she put in my order and when it was ready she still didnt say anything, not even made eye contact. As far as Im concerned she never acknowledged my existence except putting in and making my order. I have gone here before and have never been treated like this. I felt the need to say something to a manager, and in fact there were some higher ups talking about the Kroger starbucks business growth at a table nearby. I almost laughed at the thought because if they keep this employee they will notice their growth isnt going as planned. I didnt say anything because I was so angry at the time by her ignoring behavior. I will drive to the other starbucks based on principal that good customer service is more than half the reason someone chooses to purchase food or drinks somewhere. I worked at chick-fil-a and people go there BECAUSE of the great customer service. And for the same reason i would choose not to go to this one again, especially if she is the employee at the counter. I hope someone corrects her and enough people complain about her that she learns the most basic part of customer service, LOOK AT YOUR CUSTOMER AND SMILE, say something! As i said every other experience here has been fine but her behavior was embarrasssing to the name of starbucks.
Edit: I later went back to this starbucks and talked with the manager. She claimed that employee didn't last 2 weeks! I hope they pick their employees more carefully...
Read moreThis location is THE WORST I have ever been to. I’ve been going for a while, but I am finally FED UP. The baristas are extremely rude, especially Tony, Madyson, and Nicole. That’s what really sealed the deal for me to not come back. They get complaints all the time, but management never does anything. However, I extremely recommend going to the standalone location down the road. There are no repercussions for the baristas performing badly, and they could not care less if you get the right drink. My favorite baristas are Kennedy, Liz, and Randy. Alli was also good, but they haven’t been there in awhile. Probably because they had the sense to get a better job with people who actually perform well. I personally wish Kroger would just drop the starbucks in their store and replace it with something else. It’s a waste of everyone’s time because they can’t find employees who know how to do their job. All they do is talk about each other IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. Maybe they could perform better if it was just one person in the...
Read moreI’m normally not one to write bad reviews, but I had to for this one. Usually I go to the S Park St free-standing Starbucks, but since it’s closed for renovation, I decided to go to the one in Kroger. First of all, the customer service is very sub-par. Secondly, I just mobile ordered, so my plan was to get in and get out, but I saw a cup and some flowers that I also wanted. I was able to pay for the Starbucks cup at the Starbucks counter but not the small flower bouquet that I had picked up. So I ended up scanning the bouquets at self-checkout and got flagged because of the Starbucks cup I had already paid for. Of course, the baristas did not give me a receipt for it, either, so I had to explain that to the attendant at self-checkout. Ultimately, it felt like I was the one being chastised for something they forgot. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the experience, and I’ll be happy when the free-standing Carrollton Starbucks...
