Van Gogh & Vino — Local services in Carson City

I have been to Van Gogh & Vino twice now.. The first time was amazing! The instructor would do one step and explain how to do it then walk around and help anyone who needed it and when everyone (or mostly everyone) was ready to move on she would go up and explained in detail the next step. My friends and I had a blast and went home with paintings we loved. Since I had such a good time I suggested that that my sisters, my mother, and I go for the mother's day cow painting as this was our first mother's day since losing our grandma and she loved cows. Unfortunately class was awful.. The entire time the instructor was 4 or 5 steps ahead and was not explaining what she was doing. We had to go find her a few times to help us as she was barely walking around to help people. It was both of my sister's first time doing anything like this and they were both extremely frustrated when their painting was not coming out how they wished and we all felt like we had no guidance. As class finished up quite a few people were still trying to finish and instead of helping those who were struggling the instructor was chatting with people who were finished. My sister was trying to finish up and we were literally kicked out because the instructor had to leave. I felt as though the entire class was rushed because she had other plans and when I got home I was so stressed out and upset that I had suggested this for my family. It was not a relaxing painting class. It felt like a painting marathon. It was the exact opposite of a wonderful mother's day painting class. I do not think any of us will...

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure last October to get in touch with our inner artist and take one of the more unique class offerings with the talented Ms. Teresa for the wine and beer stein painting class. For $30 we had four wine glasses that we could paint whatever our hearts desired. With it being October and the weather in true form of Fall all around us we chose to paint a few in All Hallowes Eve theme and for my other two I got a little more adventurous with our teacher Teresa's guidance and painted purple flowers. My girlfriend got very artistic with Teresa's help and painted her favorite Football team, one in Old Saint Nick themed and her final one to reminder her to SIP HAPPY hehe

I had Lynzie host a painting party for me and some coworkers at San Marcos Grille, and it was fantastic! She walked us through every step of the process, making it really straightforward to follow, and she took the time to check in with each of us personally if we had any questions.
