Bella Vita Bistro & Catering Company — Restaurant in Carson City

I really wanted to like this place and it was so disappointing. Granted we didn't eat there we had doordash deliver. The door dash driver told me that they had double boxed one of the entrees because it was leaking,well that is because the soup that they put in with my sandwich was apparently nuked in the microwave in the container it was packaged in & the lid was melted beyond ever wanting to fit at all. If this happened at the restaurant & they knew it was leaking & it WASN'T the driver which I don't think it was he seemed genuine & how can he microwave my soup(?)why didn't they just redo it?! My sandwich was SOGGY beyond belief half of the soup was spilled all inside the container so any piece of pear that was in my Turkey pear & Brie sandwich I couldn't even tell if there was any in there! The Onion spread jam was lost & quite frankly even if it wasn't drenched in soup there really wasn't that much Brie on it. I salvaged what I could by taking the 2 slices apart & making it one sandwich & cutting it with a fork & knife in a bowl because it was so soggy. I noticed upon taking it apart that they only put the union jam on 1 side of the bread. While the truffle beer cheese was good, we ate some, IMO it is grossly overpriced for what you get, same on the cheese curds. My husband's chardonnay chicken was cooked properly but all the seasonings was in the bread crumbs. He said the sauce was creamy but that they must have forgotten the chardonnay as it was completely lacking flavor. I haven't even tried the soup because it's still so boiling hot. Friendly service, GREAT food and drinks for both lunch anddd dinner I am IN!! Bella Vita Bistro never, I repeat never disappoints when it comes to service with a smile along with delicious food and drinks. Whether you choose one of their House Specialties or the Special of the Day you will be veryyyy happy!

We LOVE the little details of when we come in to eat that you are greeted with a bottle/carafe of water for the table along with house-made potato chips and parmesan garlic aioli dip that are absolutely deLISH!!

SOOO happy that they are open for dinner again with their full regular menu available along with an extended after 4pm menu anddd be sure to look for Daily Specials. We LOVE the Pasta Specials and the Steamed Clams are TOO DIE FOR!! Have to mention their Weekly Specials like Ladies and Guys night for different yummilicious Martinis and Smoked Whiskey Cocktails. The Heirloom Bruschetta was absolutely deLISH with the Hot Truffle Pub Cheddar Cheese Dip with Pretzel bites and Baguette slices just being the OMCheesy goodness that I was craving!!

Lunch is ALWAYS quick for a meet-up during the week whether with a co-worker, friend or my hubby to grab my go-to of either the Big Bird Sandwich or Pear Gorgonzola Salad both are yummilicious!!

Terrible service. Lori can’t take constructive feedback. First, they forgot our appointment when we showed up to the restaurant to try food. We let it go because they fit us in. Lori had her daughter cater our wedding in Bridgeport at the barn venue. Food was cold as they use poor grade heating systems. The food and service was managed poorly. Didn’t allow guess to get seconds because they put the food away immediately and they didn’t do anything to protect the appetizers from flys. When we gave Lori the feedback for some sort of refund or accommodation there was nothing but horrible non-customer service response back.Her Daughter said it was cold outside. It was 70 outside!
