Dominguez A Car Wash — Local services in Carson

Very unpleasant experience today Saturday, 8/11/18 at about 9:30am. I frequent this Dominguez carwash in Carson but not after today. Everything was ok until I went inside to pay. I had requested a VIP (Managerial special)wash which was 29.99 on the banner outside. Once inside I was charged $40.00. This was not a problem but for clarification purposes I asked the young lady at the register was it a 40 because I have a SUV? She said yes the managerial special is 40. A young Hispanic Male slender build was standing behind her because it appeared they were conversing before I walked up to pay. He looked puzzled about what was going on so the young lady said something in spanish about the "managerial special". This is how I was certain that they were talking about what had just occurred. He then said some words in Spanish and ended with "punta" looked up at me and began to chuckle under his breath. I then informed both of them that I may not be fluent in Spanish but i know enough!! They both stood there looking like deers in headlights! I demanded my money back and left. It was not until I was outside and other customers were able to hear me complaining about what was going that he came outside trying to do damage control. Suddenly then he wanted to explain what he didnt explain when I was inside, trying to assure me that what I heard was not what he said and that they respect all customers. This was a blatant lie obviously so I got in my car and left. To say I am disgusted would be a understatement! I have been going here for 5yrs. But never again. A guy was vacuuming cars & decided that was all he was doing. When he finished vacuuming a car he'd drive into the line to wait for the wash. The problem is that some cars were being hand washed. This means the person hand washing cars had to back up the the vaccummed cars or wait for someone to move them back.

It took about 3hrs to get my car completely detailed. There were a lot of cars and i have a SUV that was being hand washed. But this was much longer than necessary.

They somehow broke the chargers in my center console. My phone was literally charging when I pulled into the car wash, but not when i plugged it up to leave; after 3hrs waiting & with only my phone for entertainment, the battery was low. Luckily my rear chargers worked & my cable can reach to the front.

To top it off, someone got water in my center console screen. There is literally a water bubble hanging out annoying me every time I look at the screen.

Needless to say I'm never returning to that car wash. I don't know how much it will cost me to fix this mess. But I do know I will never return to this car wash & i highly recommend you get your car washed...

I was passing by the mall nearby and I noticed this car wash across the street. I saw that it was not too busy, so I decided to take my car in. I will recommend this place to anyone in the area for two very important reasons. The guys did a phenomenal job making sure to clean my car and it smell so good afterwards. After I got my keys and was about to leave I noticed a dirty spot on my windows and this brings me to my second reason why people should check this place out, the customer services is great.
