I don't normally write reviews but was pretty pissed off and upset when leaving last night 4/19/2015. I went shopping after a long few days prior. Went first to the Casselberry location and then hit the other NEW Casselberry location by the 17-92 after to find another pair of dress shoes, upon shopping... I was followed around the store by an older lady with blonde hair and glasses. She kept pacing and hovering over me when looking for kitchen items. I bought 2 pairs of dress socks, a pair of sleep pants and a shirt. I am a white male so this isn't racial profiling, nor should I be made to feel like a criminal while shopping for merchandise. I am a Finance Manager at Ford and to be honest this was the biggest insult. I persisted to ask her for items in that department that she had no clue to. But being a paying customer. I should never be made to feel like I am doing something wrong by shopping and spending my hard earned money. I will never shop at that location again, this store is a new location built within the last year. I was pretty happy to have a store closer to me, but I'd rather go to Older Casselberry location. Be aware that she may have been doing her job, but you have security staff and cameras for that. You don't need to pace around me and interrupt my shopping...
Read moreHappy that this is not my store since today I was in the area and decided to stop at Ross Fern Park. Had several clothing items to try and they only have 2 available dressing rooms at the front and they were occupied. All the dressing rooms in the back are closed. But after waiting a long time for a room to become available I left most of the clothes and kept a blouse I trusted would fit me. When I made a comment to a male staff about the need for more dressing rooms he ignored me completely, didn't say a single word to address me, looked toward the dressing rooms and continued working on his sorting task. It was as if I was talking to myself and the lack of customer service is not something I see at my Winter Park store. Actually, an overflowing shopping cart with clothing was by the door to one of the occupied dressing rooms and that did call his attention since it looked suspicious. Only because the cashier mentioned it and he then was able to find his voice. Sad to witness people who take their jobs for granted and dismiss clients who need attention and want to spend money at their place of employment. At the end I purchased a blouse and PJ pant for my hubby- instead of 5 items I could have tried on in the...
Read moreRoss always has great finds in the Decoration and Bedding department, prices are fair and better than whatâs at the mall.
The dressing room needs ALOT of help. Half of the time itâs typically closed so you can not try on clothes you may want to purchase, and to be honest you may not even want to go inside. Itâs really gross, badly cared for, thereâs gum holding up the curtains that is meant to give you privacy, if you even find a a stall with a curtain that is. So yes it needs a major update and upgrade at all Ross locations.
Also the clothing department would be so much better if it was organized as by color and sizes. However clothes are not the best quality so donât expect much life out of them. Overall the shopping experience is okay, you can always find something to...
