FiveStar — Local services in Cave City

I recently visited FiveStar off I-65 in Cave City, Kentucky, on May 22nd at around 7:00 PM, and had a highly disappointing experience. Inside, the convenience store was extremely unclean and unsanitary. The shelves were poorly stocked with expired products, and there was visible dirt and grime everywhere.

The men's restroom was particularly appalling, with a strong odor of urine and dead flies scattered everywhere. It was evident that the restroom hadn't been cleaned in a long time, lacking even basic supplies like soap and toilet paper.

While the staff did provide good customer service, they frequently used profanity, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment.

Overall, this gas station failed to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and a professional atmosphere. I will not be returning and advise others to...

Five-star is a legend. I know the bucees nearby is famous and whatnot, but this gas station is magic. I worked at a fireworks tent across the street for three weeks, and I met every single one of their employees, and every one of them was fabulous. Not to mention the always clean and well stocked bathrooms, well stocked food and drinks (aside from the pineapple Fanta that is... they kept running out...) but in every other way, this is the best gas station around. I would do the 1.5-hour commute daily just to get gas from here if I had the time....
