Main Street Mercantile. I just love this adorable lil store! I found it while wandering around the island. Such cute, unique things! Difficult not to buy one of everything! But then..... The proprietor gave me a sample of their vanilla pineapple soft serve ice cream. Wow!!! Best ice cream I've ever had! We had to leave that day. We will return to CK next winter. I'm so sad I have to wait an entire year to have more of that wonderful ice cream. The good thing is we'll be staying half the winter next year so I can have...

My family and I frequent Cedar Key as often as possible, while there we make a point to stop in to the Main Street Mercantile store. It is ADORABLE, They have EVERYTHING! We love their soft serve ice cream, and the wide variety of gifts, seasonings and sauces they offer. There is definitely something there for everyone. We can’t wait to get back over there to see what new goodies...

This shop is exceptional. There's not a lot of gift shops that double as a seafood market, so it's the best place to go for getting gifts for people you love and getting great ingredients to cook them a wonderful meal.
