Sippin’ smoothies at the Prickly Palm in Cedar Key ☀️😎 #cedarkey #florida #vanlife #rvlife

What an eclectic find in Cedar Key. We noticed it due to the number of local golf carts, parked out front. If the locals like it, it must be good, we thought and it was. We were warmly greeted by Hannah the owner when we came through the door. The cafe definitely has the old Florida cracker house charm and feel with wood floors and exposed beam ceiling. They’re seating inside and out. The menu had a nice mix of breakfast and lunch items. Unfortunately, we just had lunch, but we did come back the next morning for a couple of lattes before we hit the road on the way out of town. I’d highly recommend it!

Love this place! I’m fortunate to be a relatively short drive from Cedar Key, and this has quickly become a mandatory first stop. Best coffee on the island, and I appreciate that they’ve made the effort to train up their staff in this regard since opening. All of their food is delicious, and you can tell the ingredients are super fresh - it really makes a difference! My go-to favorites are the yogurt parfait or their breakfast sandwiches, plus the amazing açaí bowls, but looking forward to trying more of the menu. Location has a nice relaxed vibe with plenty of outdoor seating.

The Prickly Palm is our go to place for coffee and muffins. It is a wonderful quirky little place right off the Main Street. Smoothies, bagels, great brunchy type sandwiches, and a remarkable selection of lattes make for a must stop when we are in town. The owner Hannah and crew are a delight to interact with being warm and welcoming. There are some sweet Knick knacks stuff to browse through and a great eclectic area to sit at outside while enjoying the treats. There is a secret treat to ask for…..frozen chocolate muffins kept back in a secure location. These don’t last long. My favorite latte to date is the raspberry mocha made with chocolate almond milk followed by the new samosa. I prefer both iced. Don’t miss this gem and tell Hannah and Alexis,...

Today was the first time I had ever been to Prickly Pear , will not be my last My daughter and I had the Acai’ bowl and it was amazing I will say at first I wrinkled my nose at the $11 price tag but DONT It was in a very large bowl and was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about it. My daughter also had the biggest ham sandwich ( I may be saying that wrong ) I was awesome she said. I wil Defoe you be putting the place in my weekly budget cause that Acai bowl was the best. Oh I ordered online for pick up she for prepare the order right away and the shop itself was very nice very cozy easy to find and parking out front. The lady that helped me was very nice and and hospitable. You guys are doing a great job keep it...

We were actually trying to go to another breakfast shop, but our GPS took us here and we were so happy with it. We ended up eating here the rest of the trip. The strawberry lemonade is phenomenal. The caramel coffee drink is delicious iced or hot. My grandparents loved the breakfast tacos. My husband was impressed with how full he was after eating the breakfast burrito and enjoyed the flavors it had. I enjoyed eating the healthy start each time we were there. It pairs well with the hot sauce they offered. 10/10 recommend and will be back when we visit again. Almost forgot, the muffins are so tasty! If you’re tempted to get...
