Bonish Studio — Restaurant in Cedar Key

Came in on a Saturday shortly after opening. Had 1 round of drinks with the wife and we were cut off. Not sure why. I was ordering. Wasn’t slurring my words or stumbling around. Wasn’t driving later. Wife and I were joking around on the patio but we weren’t being loud so not sure why we were cut off. I’m an ex bar manager so I know the signs and everything but I didn’t fight it. I even tipped more than my bill. I just didn’t understand it. I won’t be back though. Plenty of bars around that will serve people that aren’t intoxicated. We arrived at this bar early, just after it opened for the day and were the only ones there. We were greeted by the owner as we walked in and she served us some tasty drinks. (They make an awesome Bloody Mary!!) Her & her husband were both very friendly and made it a fun place. We left for a bit & later decided to get pizza around the corner from Bonish. It was only take out but they said they would deliver to us at Bonish. So we went back in and had our pizza with a nice glass of wine. There’s a nice seating area outside too. My husband and I always make a stop at Bonish Studio on our weekend trips to Cedar Key. Pat and Cindy are so pleasant and fun to talk to. Not only are they wonderful business owners, but you can tell they are a caring and integral part of their community!
