TL;DR: Very friendly staff, prices aren’t that bad and I got compensated even though I felt like I didn’t deserve it. Connor you’re the man
Overall there’s nothing really can complain about besides noise, they have basically every game someone would want to play; even Team Fortress 2 and games like Half Life. There’s energy drinks and food there, there’s like 50 computers, there’s a PS4 Pro, an Xbox one.
I went for the lock in with my friend who I’ll call Zen, zen brought me there to play some Super Smash Bros ultimate competition, I didn’t win or even come close but I had fun, that’s what I like about it everyone was a great sport and I actually could play my main, Gannon. I got decimated but I still enjoyed every moment.
The next part is about what I see could be improved (possibly). It would be nice to have their own dedicated PS5 or PS5 slim so you could sign in and play your games there.
It would also be nice to have something like Celsius there as I’m not a fan of sugary energy drinks but they do have gfuel which is zero sugar so I got one of those.
I also think the Master Chief Collection would be a good addition to their games library but I’m not sure if they can add it.
Overall, I see myself coming back just to hang out, the staff was beyond friendly and nice. When I left for the night even though I had paid for the lock in but didn’t end up staying Connor said he wanted to reimburse me because of all the computer troubles. Absolutely beyond friendly. So they gave me a reason to come back, extra hours and they just made me feel good about going there.
It doesn’t feel like some corporate conglomerate trying to leech money from you, it feels like a family run business that’s trying their hardest to accommodate everyone. Even when I mentioned the noise they told me where to go to get some for free. I ended up not needing said earplugs as I brought my own but it’s a...
Read moreWhat an amazing experience. I hosted my sons'11th Birthday part at Esports and the kids had an amazing time. The owner was very professional and super easy to work with. The pizza was Aa hit with the kids!. I liked the flexibility that the owners created. Many times when your hosting a kids party at other places the rules and expectations are so ridge it makes it very difficult as a parent to work within those rules. Sue understood from a parent perspective how important flexibility is. She reached out to me a few days before the part to confirm the details. The staff on hand was very attentive to the kids while setting them up on the computers. The kids loved this ability to play together or separately. This experience catered to the most extravert kid to the highly introvert kid. We will be back next year to...
Read moreStaff was awesome- helpful and attentive and fun. The facility was stupendous and had just about every sport that you could possibly want to try. Esports Cave was across from the ice skating rink, and up from a wonderful little wine/coffee business.
The staff got the kids set up on their computers in a friendly, no-fuss. And the party area was set up well before the scheduled time, so we were able to arrive early and add to it with our food and birthday cake and finishing touches. (We brought in our own karaoke setup, and the business didn't mind at all!)
Side note: When I was carrying in my 40 count (huge thing!) of waters, a young man and ice skates who didn't even work there offered to help me. So a very friendly, and family oriented sports...
