Where do I start. Went in February 2nd to order a custom suit for my wedding and was promised a 2 week turn around. I get a call from Nazario the lying salesman. He states that they had to cancel on their end due to order numbers not matching the Taylor’s number. He assured me multiple times that he called and confirmed my suit was still in production and will be shipped soon. A month later I call and Nazario states my suit is shipped and stuck in customs in Canada and that it’s out of his hands. I keep calling weekly for updates only to be told the same thing. Fast forward to no April I go in person only to be told their suits are made in AR and do not ever come from Canada & that they couldn’t figure out why he would tell me that. The Asst. Mgr comes out and gets the information and starts working on expediting the suit to re-order as my wedding is in May. I call corporate and they get involved with the expediting process and assure me it will be here in plenty of time to make any corrections before the wedding. 2 weeks later now and I just went and got another suit from men’s warehouse where I have my custom suit already and is having the corrections being made to assure the best fit. All in all I had to hound them weekly this entire time. The staff are all incredibly incompetent and can’t even communicate properly even when it’s a situation where they have added so much stress to my wedding planning that could’ve been avoided by going somewhere else. I rarely ever say that someone should lose their job but Nazario should be fired immediately! He blatantly lied and delayed me from being able to just go somewhere else from the start of this mess by the lies he told. I will never spend a cent here again and have made it very clear to friends and family that they should avoid this store at all costs. So to Nazario “with that being said” (the guy says it every sentence) thank you for...
Read moreI took my daughter prom dress shopping here and I’m not sure I would recommend it, at the very least definitely not this location. I’ve had a couple days to reflect on my experience there... the girls in the prom dress (formal misses) section were only interested in talking to each other except for that brief moment one of them looked up and asked one customer if she needed help.. which would sort of be in the pro column if there weren’t 5 other shoppers within her eyesight. Walking into dressing room it was hard not to immediately notice the buzzing florescent lighting and odd mirror placement. Focused on my daughter and the dresses I guess I didn’t realize it was close to closing time... there was no store announcement, and the gossiping girl sales associates gave no indication neither. I popped into dressing room to help zip up a dress. My daughter and I started talking about how this was the dress and we were for sure going to buy it. We come out l, go right to register to check out and one of the girls is counting stacks of cash and the other one was grabbing her bag to leave. Neither of them acknowledged me, I had to clarify I wanted to check out which they promptly said they couldn’t ring it up. Right after complete silence by both of them I asked if I could take the dress to another register to checkout... . . . 2 register stations later a very rude older woman checked us out forcing me to have a Pretty Woman flash back because her facial expression and attitude matched the sales girl from Vivian’s first shopping attempt in a store on Rodeo drive. Luckily we found a great dress otherwise this would be the part I would say I would have selected zero stars for this...
Read moreTammy Moore from Dillard's at Chandler Fashion went above and beyond to help me out. On May 5th I called the 800 number to Dillard's to see if they could tell me which store I could find a certain dress. Unfortunately the store did not have the dress. So they told me Chandler did. So I called the dress department and got Tammy. It was almost closing time. She took my number and said she would call me as soon as she found it. She actually text me a picture of the dress and held it for me until Monday. She sent me a picture of the flaw on the dress so I could decide if I wanted it. On Mother's Day Sunday I text her to see if there was a way to transfer the dress to Arrowhead Mall which is closer to me. She actually answered me and said absolutely. She was still hesitant because of the flaw so she told me Monday she was going to call Scottsdale Fashion to see if there dresses were flawless. They show they had 2. (they told me they didn't have any). Tammy was going to take care of it for me. Myself and the girl the dress is for (For a wedding) decided to just go grab that dress to make sure we had the correct one on time. Tammy held it aside for us to come pick up. She went above and beyond to help me out with this issue and I am so happy that it was her that I connected with. Tammy Moore is an outstanding employee of Dillard's...
