(And by the way, upon posting this review, the name changed to Julep Boutique. The offending business of my experience is Charleston Boutique.)

A sham of a scam. I think creating cute little boutique names of shops purported to be in a charming city is the new online fraud.

Beautiful blouse ordered…ugly, 100% polyester T shirt arrived via international transport (hello made in China)

Customer service pretended to be concerned and disappointed by my experience, even signed emails with “Love, “ and finally when they negated my concerns and I opted to return the product, it was going to cost me international shipping AND crazy additional fees. Totally 3x the cost of the original purchase. I could, however, keep the inferior item and get a 10% discount on my next order.

I’m laughing so hard my side hurts. And.. Shame on me for being duped into this online gimmick to scam the consumer with photos that don’t match the product received.

I LOVE JULEP! They have great selections of jewelry, dresses, & handbags. I recently stopped in for the Fall season & they have phenomenal sweaters! This is the best shop in town for all cocktail party needs- from the sassy, unique dresses to the statement jewelry pieces. The ladies are absolute sweethearts & I LOVE shopping...
