Artful Hand Gallery — Local services in Chatham

One of our favorite Summer trips is going to Chatham on Cape Cod, we love sitting on the patio of the Wild Goose, Sundae school ice-cream and, our all time favorite, a visit or two, or three, to the Artful Hand gallery on Main street. This is where I do my early Christmas shopping, (they have a wide variety of great gifts) and browse their great jewelry selection.

Visiting the store/gallery is a joy, especially when leaving it with a charming gift or original painting. The layout of store allows for a browsing extravaganza, and Joe and his team make you feel welcome, while giving you all the time and space that you need to make up your mind. I have been very appreciative of Joe as he has consistently delivered excellent customer service over the years, following up and making sure that I would end up with exactly the piece of fine jewelry, or gift that I had in mind.

We are looking forward to our summer trip to the Cape, and especially to see what kind of beautiful items the. Artful Hand Gallery has in store this season, and of course to say hi to Joe...

I chose a sterling silver fish hook bracelet for my friend that was moving. I had been looking online and saw several that were similar but not until I arrived did I realized there was such a difference in quality! Many look the same.. And they had different price points for each looking the same, but some were just a higher quality And I appreciate them explaining and showing me the differences So I could make an informed choice:) I am very pleased I went with this one, hands down. It is just lovely and my friend thought it was fabulous! I also wanted to say that my sales lady was so so helpful, she put it on for me because it was very small and let me take a picture on her hand to send it to another friend to make sure it was what we were looking for. I really appreciated the assistance!! So nice!! What a great place and what beautiful things they have there. I love supporting our local businesses anyway, But this was just a wonderful experience...

It's nice to finally shop in a store where the staff and owners truly do care about their customers!! My husband had bought me an anniversary ring and within the year the pearl fell out and I lost it. My husband said don't bother going back. I'm sure they will not replace it. But being persistent as I am, I went back to the Artful Hand and the owner himself apologized for the pearl falling out and sent it back and gave me for free, a brand new ring exactly the way it was when we bought it a year earlier!
