Today while gift shopping we had a horrible experience with the staff. Upon entering no one greeted us or explained how the store worked. We proceeded to taste oils and choose our selections. We were rudely told we were pouring too much oil when tasting and that we were only to pour two drops. We didn’t know this rule and from then on abided by this. We continued to taste and decide what we purchase. Then a woman rudely told my daughter that she could not do the pouring that I had to assist. I told them it was fine as she was only doing the allowed drops and we were rudely told no. I was never asked if we needed help and we were treated so poorly - reminded me of the scene in Pretty Woman. We took our business elsewhere and will never shop here. If there were issues with Kids in the store even when well behaved there are other ways to talk to customers. The manager or woman not wearing apron looked down on us as if we w Didn’t belong. Just horrible horrible...

Just return to gustare gourmet to stop back up on my favorite olive oils... lemon and herb de Provence. These amazing oils are just an incredible drizzle to saute in or straight up over fresh steamed vegetables. The flavors are fresh and clear and add a nice pop! The new shop is a little farther down and on the opposite side of Main Street and it's a beautiful, well lighted new space with plenty of parking. As always I was greeted with great enthusiasm by the staff and I'm always excited to see what they have to try that's new.
