Check your bag before leaving store to ensure what you thought you bought is what you got (& before you give it as a gift!) A young gentleman helped me buy 2 lighted color jellyfish glass items at $42 each and we spoke about it changing colors. I left the Cape and drove 3 states away and gave the gift bag to a friend only to be totally embarrassed that it was "glow in the dark"/ not color changing on its own and base was not included. I called store and found out that base was another $19 each! The store agreed to send a return shipping label for both glass items (& now I wonder if that would have been deducted from my refund.) However, my friend was so gracious and wanted to remove my embarrassment and she displayed the piece and threw out the box. So I couldn't return it. I emailed back the part owner with idea of discounting 2 bases and shipping free. Their response was 20% off the additional cost AND that I could pay for $18 shipping (to friend's address and my home.) Are they kidding me?? I need to pay more for what the product I was talking about with clerk AND now shipping to correct HIS mistake? I think the required base at their cost and free shipping would have been fair. I would not have bought the item at total cost of $60. If their staff doesn't know their product, that is not my fault and situation was handled totally inappropriately. The very least they could have done was pay shipping to correct their staff's mistake. Forget it. I went online and got same brand name base cheaper than their token 20% off the base AND I got free shipping. So much for their customer service making a situation right. I should have gone on-line to begin with! So check your bag to make sure what you think you bought...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis funky little shop has been here forever! It's really a neat place and a must visit for me when I'm in Chatham. It's centrally located on Chatham's quaint Main Street.
I'd say they have items for almost all budgets here.
They sell home decor, earrings, glassware, greeting cards, decorative pocket knives, cool socks, beautiful photos of the Cape, clocks, inexpensive coin purses, signs and SO MUCH MORE!
My personal favorite is the jewelry, they often have some very eclectic items!
Keep in mind the inventory is often changing, so if you see something you LOVE, you might want to buy it on this vacation.
I spotted a sign in the store stating they will ship to 48 of the states.
This is a great place to look for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery random assortment of merchandise. I was thrilled to find a Mr. Rogers Coffee mug that even changes from his jacket to his sweater when it gets hot! ( only reason Iām giving 2 stars). However, the employee who rang me up, left a very negative feeling for me! So unfriendly, didnāt care at all to engage with me or speak about how excited I was for my purchase. I would recommend hiring employees who are more engaging with the customers and are able to at least pretend they care. Left an awful impression on me and I will most likely never give this store...
