Had a reservation for "battery service" on my iPhone. Spent 75+ minutes at the counter to drop the phone off. Asked how much it would cost and the person at the counter could not tell me the price. After fumbling thru the process of trying to enter the work order, another person came over and looked at it for 10+ minutes, then I am told that they cant repair my phone because the battery is swollen and the screen separated from the frame.
Why did it take 75+ minutes to get to that point? Shouldn't they have looked at it and said "here are the options"? That would have taken 5-10 minutes.
It's obvious to me that the staff there have zero training on phone repairs. I wouldn't trust them to repair anything. The store is an absolute disaster, parts/pieces missing from the display, scratches all over the walls and counters.
I took mine to another place, they got my paperwork done in a couple minutes and told me to come back in an hour. Phone is good as new, no problems.
Save your time and go ANYWHERE else for phone repairs. I should have known better than to waste my time at "Best Buy". I won't be surprised when they go the way of Circuit City...
Read moreI came here yesterday morning to speak to someone about some issues with my pc. It was 2 people at the counter, a young lady and a guy. The lady was already helping a customer and the guy asked me to go to the other side of the rope where the line started. He then looks me up and down in an ugly fashion, note, I had on a US Navy hoodie and some sweats (yes I’m active duty of almost 20yrs btw). He then looks at his laptop and just continues to ignore me. 10 mins of waiting an older man walks in from outside in a light blue shirt, bald, and he stops him and tells him to come to the counter. When I tell you I got so pissed, I could’ve snatched him so fast but I just didn’t think it was worth losing my retirement pension.
