I rented a tux for my brothers wedding 4 months in advance and got fitted the same day. They told me that everything was in order and that they would call me the week of the wedding to come try it on. When that week finally arrived I received no call. Not wanting to take any risks by waiting, I called them on that Wednesday to see if it was in yet. I was told that it wasn't but was assured that it would arrive the next day at noon and that I would get a phone call or email. The next day, having gotten no call or email, I called back again to check on the tux. After 10 minutes of repeating my name to the elderly man on the phone and being put on and off hold I was told that he had no record of me renting a tux. I then spoke to a woman who was able to locate me in the system after I gave her every form of identification known to man. She told me that there had been a mix up and that the date of the event was set up for the following month. I'm going to assume that the mix up was caused by the 70 year old man who entered my information the day of the fitting while a boy with a wispy mustache and a diamond earring the size of a wooly mammoth shouted my measurements at him from 3 feet away. Needless to say.... I don't recommend going to this particular...
Read moreI will NEVER go back to this Men's Wearhouse again - the West County one is the way to go. I paid $235.00 to rent a tux (along with 7 other men in my family / wedding party) and the groom requested we get an extra day to return them as their usual policy is to return them the following day of the event or there is a $20.00 late fee charge. Numerous people, along with myself, double checked this to make sure we were good to return on Monday as opposed to Sunday. I go to return the tux and of course they tell me there is a $20 fee for being a day late. I do not know if Jason Loeffler was a manager or just an arrogant person in general but he acted like I was lying and just making all this up to get out of paying. It is a ridiculous policy as is but if that's the rule then so be it. After I explained everything - he continued to tell me well this policy was told to you at time of purchase and listed on your receipt. I had to call the West County location and they finally realized the error, dealt with the Chesterfield store, and refunded me my money. The misunderstanding is fine and mistakes happen but being completely rude is another thing. It is a shame too as I purchased a belt and two sweaters from this store and now my fiance insists I...
Read moreI have dealt with Men's Warehouse on numerous occasions for weddings and proms. This has been the worst. The employees are arrogant and made many negative comments about other customers under their breath as well as off color comments to me and my bride. They also messed up the sizing for one of the groomsmen tuxes.
Circumstances beyond our control made us have to return our groomsmen's tuxes for our groomsmen. We couldn't make it the next day but brought the tuxes in first thing the second day. We were charged the late fee, though fair and according to policy, they could have been nicer and sympathetic. Rather my bride was met with the statement, "I've never seen a bride return groomsmen's tuxes before, that's horrible" in a judgmental tone.
When I brought this up with the manager, he basically shrugged it off and acted like I was trying to avoid the late fee, saying "some customers don't realize the policy they sign.
All in all, this was the worst location I've ever been to and would not recommend it to anyone. Maybe another location might be better, the drive would...
