So today, my husband and I were in the store shopping. We were just getting ready to leave, and the checkout girl told me I had to leave my purse behind her counter, which I have as a backpack purse due to the fact purses hurt my shoulder and I have medicine I have to carry which requires a larger purse. She proceeded to tell me they have problems with shoplifters. She called the manager. I opened my bag and let him look inside. I felt harassed.. singled out threatened and stressed. Made me sick. The staff was very weird with my family it felt as though they had suspicion of us stealing my husband was looking for boots and as soon as he picked a pair out they ripped them out of his hands and said they would waiting for him up front whatever its a bad area they were following us around and constantly asking if we needed help finding anything I work in retail I know when people are suspicious and how they behave anyways we paid. I went in there tonight looking for HeartGuard for dogs. I couldn’t remember the name of the medicine so I called it heart worm medicine. The people at the registers were very nice but their “animal health specialist” was rude. She said no very abruptly and then decided to talk to her coworker while I was right behind them that “if they’re looking for heart worm medicine their dog already has it”. She didn’t think to ask what I was looking for specifically and showed no concern for anything but the task she was doing.
