There wasn't an option for minusâď¸'s . Being the only MAT program IN Cheyenne helping You patience with medical assisted treatment. They don't give 2 U know what's. To as if your unable to make it to said appointment. For refills on this so called TREATMENT. THEY LET The patient suffered even if they're consistent not even a day or 2 help. They even lie and say they can't unless been seen . Well I started at the UW clinic in casper ,Wyoming. Those people honestly care . Especially Beth one of the nurses for the MAT program up there . They will work with u and get u something called in. Also the medicine your prescribed. Causes major major oral problem lots of mouth infections. ( Side note people die from mouth infections all the time) UW here it's like pulling teeth to have them prescribe antibiotics that you have to pay for even. They tell you to go to the dentist. Well I'm on the Mat program. I can't afford the dentist obviously. I don't wanna die of a mouth infection. I don't want it to go to my heart, my brain so on.. no one's asking 4 any pain medication either . It's been a hardest struggle in transition to go to this program. No wonder why people in Cheyenne, cannot get clean and stay clean. Nobody's accepting medical treatment right now. And I'm sure they won't anytime soon unless you have private insurance or pay out-of-pocket. Neither clinic warned me about tooth loss, decay any of the horrible happenings going on in my mouth. 1 1/2 years later I'm toothless. And struggling to get these people to fully help . I'm going to start not feeling good soon. I was unable to make to my appointment because I do have a full time job and no SUPPORT SYSTEM IN CHEYENNE BESIDES MYSELF. AND THEY SHUT THE PHONES DOWN 15MINS BEFORE CLOSONG EVEN IF THEY KNOW CAUSE U I TELL THEM IL CALL RITE BACK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. BETH IS A SAINT AND WIL CAL U IF THIS HAPOENS SHAME ON YOU UN CARING PEOPLE WHO RUN THE CHEYENNE OFFICE . Any give nobody any direction to Go If Any of This Happens.YOU GUYS, super awesome !said no one ever. A...
Read moreI'm giving UW Family Medicine one star because there is no zero star rating. I've been going there for about five years. I didn't even bother going in for a check up last year. In 2023 I noted to my provider that I was experiencing pain that started near my ear and ran down my neck. My ear would become extremely painful. I was able to relate the exact month I first experienced this and what I felt caused the pain. She announced that it was a migraine. I told her I didn't believe it was a migraine because it was localized to my neck and ear and I could relieve it by yawning widely and holding that position for a few minutes. It only lasted about 20 minutes at the most. I thought it might be TMJ but she insisted it was a migraine and wrote a prescription for a migraine med. This year I finally have an actual doctor. He sent me for an X-ray of my neck and, who could have guessed, I have degineration of the bone in my vertebrae of my neck. I have never received a call from UW reminding me that it's time for a checkup. The provider before this one was incredibly rude. I had a blood clot in 2020 but I didn't know what it was. He looked at my leg and shoved his chair back and said, "Any reason to believe you might have cancer?" Whoa, I wasn't prepared for that! Then he shuffled me out the door with a prescription and no information. He excuse was, "I'm going to be leaving here in a few weeks and I need to get this written up right now." I had to make another appt with him to find out exactly what was going on. I asked him what I could and couldn't do and his response was, "You can do anything you want. Just be sure to be close to a hospital in case you throw a clot to your lungs." Gosh Doc, thanks. If this is the caliber of provider they are turning out, I feel awful for their patients. I wish I had gotten a dedicated provider...
Read moreI definitely would not return. They were 30 minutes late getting me back, and then when I was waiting in the room for the doctor to come in, I could here employees talking about how slow it was. Very unprofessional, especially considering how long I had been waiting. Then, the resident came in and I talked to her about what was going on. One of the issues I discussed with her was my ear infection. She confirmed that I definitely had an ear infection. She went to discuss with the doctor, and he came in. He was with me for all of two minutes, didn't address my ear infection at all or one of the other concerns I was in for, and sent me to get blood work. Several of the tests he ran I had just had earlier that week, so I had to pay for them twice. Several weeks later, and no one has called with any results. So of the three issues I went in with, I got no feedback. Horrible service. Would not recommend!!
Update to add: After almost 3 months I had still not received a bill from them, despite the fact that my insurance processed it over two months ago. I called to see if there was an issue, and the lady argued with me for several minutes saying that insurance had not processed yet and that I didn't understand what I was looking at (I was on my insurance account). Called insurance and sure enough, I was correct. Luckily my insurance was nice enough to send a second...
