Chicago Kernel Gourmet Popcorn — Local services in Chicago

I used to really like this place, but the service is very poor now. I'm an African American woman and I am so tired of being treated like I don't deserve good service. The man didn't even thank me for my business, and when I said to him aren't you going to say thank-you,? He looked at me like I was stupid and didn't deserve a thank-you. Something really needs to be done about this. I'm going to look into it. Oh yeah, and he said he was that manager. He is an Indian man. This makes me so sad. And I spent $20.00 in there. Isn't that worth a thank-you...

This place is getting a five star raring from me, not because of their popcorn, I've never had it! but one thing I do miss is the smell of burnt popcorn that spread throughout Millenium Station. Don't get me wrong the smell is pretty pungent but it's at least ten times better than the smell of urine left behind permeating unto all the available seats. There was a time that the smell of popcorn was so bad I was just about to leave a 1 star rating but no more. I'd rather get nose full of charred kernels than someone's fermented...

Popcorn is great, but shame on the service. It was a young person working who I’ve never seen before that acted like my service was an inconvenience. She was short with us and rude and was too interested in her phone to be courteous. I asked for napkins and she said already in there. There is ONE. For two bags of popcorn...
