I booked with Deseiree (zootiee2x ) 1rst appointment at the time of the appointment i get a message saying im coming off the train. She talked over my head the whole time. She kept stepping out to talk 15 mins at a time while i was in her chair. Second time i showed up for her not to even show up. My appointment was just pushed to the side I called and text this woman all morning for her to tell me to come to the shop hours later. I show up for the appointment which i shouldn’t have for her to talk on the phone over my head and turn my parts in my head into circle parts when they are squared off. I let her know that i needed them corrected she made me wait and then told me there’s nothing wrong with my parts. Moving right along i booked for February with another loctician in Issues. I booked for the wrong month so she was going to just fit me in today. When she found out i was the one that was complaining about my parts she said she had to check with desiree because she most likely wouldn’t be cool with it. I called and asked her what was the decision. She told me she’s sorry she can’t do my hair because Desiree isn’t cool with it. So in other words if you leave me as a client I’m going to make sure no one does your hair. When i tell you this woman is past unprofessional she told me waiting for her to show up is something you have to do when having locs. She has a lot to learn because if a person has a appointment a good loctician would have made sure she scheduled appointments far enough apart.or he’ll show up for your clients. So the other stylist apologized when the right thing to do would have been to do my hair. Not say sorry and return my deposit. Desiree told me that they both are the hottest locticians in south loop and they have both chosen not to do my hair. The other loctician is hot desiree is simply a wannna be. I had the worst experience at this salon.I SCHEDULED an 8am appt on StyleSeat with ElegantMidge (nothing about this experience was elegant). I was there on time , got shampooed/dried and an hour passed and I asked the shampoo girl where this stylist was and she shrugged her shoulders. I was told by the receptionist that the stylist would be there soon. I wait another 20 minutes, the receptionist says Midge doesn’t like to be rushed she will arrive when she arrives . She said I could text Midge if I needed to. This is my first time going to this salon, so I text her and this lady tells me that she doesn’t like to be rushed. Plus she has an appointment to do before me although my appointment was scheduled for 8am and then she’d have to do her regular walk-ins first. ALTHOUGH I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT. I explained that I had a wedding to attend today, that I SCHEDULED an appointment days ago. This lady did not care that she wasted my time and put me in a bind. The name of this salon is perfect ISSUES, we’re always screaming support our own. But it’s times like this when OUR own feel they don’t need the business they get unprofessional. I googled natural hair salons in Chicago. I don’t know why this place popped up. I went there to talk to someone in person, I immediately saw this was NOT a natural hair salon. I asked if they had natural hair stylist. Why did they lie and say yes? Why couldn’t they have been honest and said no? I was quoted a hundred dollars for a frohawk. To make a long story short, I left six hours later with two bogus braids. My stylist didn’t seem as if she knew how to do natural hair. She was friendly though, and when she saw I was not satisfied she tried to fix it. The fix was the two braids. I asked for four, but stopped her after she did two. She gave me $40 back, But I paid sixty dollars to lose six hours of my day at a salon, and two hours to rewash my hair at home. That’s besides not being able to work tonight now. Moral of the story, be honest. Natural girls....Do Not Go To That Shop!!!!!!!!!! I’m crying right now. I wish they had negative options to the rating system. One star just...
