Was there for the Pack Expo 2024. MP is ungodly huge so you better be ready to walk. The Expo map was crap and hard to find things on it.
I am taking off a point because the first Men's bathroom in from the parking deck has only has 3 stalls and 2 urinals which leads to a long line when you first get there. Seriously, that needs to be fixed, especially since Chicago traffic sucks beyond words, and everyone is no doubt exploding from having to use the bathroom by the time they get there.
They should also make it clearer that you can pay your parking ticket when you just get inside the main building so you know to bring the ticket with you.
Also taking off a point for the parking lot guy who kept harrssing me when I was trying to straighten my car up in the parking spot. Seriously, dude, I saw you motion that there was one more car allowed after mine for that level, so chill TF out. I had to adjust the car or else I wasn't going to be able to get out due to the concrete wall next to me. It took me an extra 10...
Read moreMusty smelling convention center. Dirty, dark parking garage (A) with non working elevators. In desperate need of power washing in the stairwells at the very least. Parking is $27.

And forget buying food from the vendors here- totally overpriced and disgusting. $5 for a small bottle of water, very low quality food. It can’t possibly cost that much to bring in food to this huge facility with gigantic loading docks.
I saw security guards sleeping on the job or looking like they were under the influence. They give out incorrect directions as well so be careful.
And why- WHY do they close off different entrances on different days. It’s confusing enough to drive around McCormick place and during a multi-day conference I saw three different configurations for access to enter parking lot A.
I don’t know who runs this place but they don’t have common sense at all. Like the city of Chicago, this place is...
Read moreFantastic Venue for Microsoft Ignite 2024! I recently attended Microsoft Ignite 2024 at the McCormick Place West Building, and I was thoroughly impressed! The venue is incredibly well-organized, with ample exhibit space and meeting rooms. The Skyline Ballroom is stunning and versatile, accommodating a large number of attendees comfortably. The rooftop garden is a lovely spot for breaks and networking. The transportation center within the building made it easy to get to and from downtown Chicago. Overall, a top-notch experience for a major event...
