Well , they do not live up to their name ..I haven’t been here for over five years. Because my last experience was ok , so decided to give them another try .. ! Well , first thing , tables are dirty, lobby area needs some TLC , cashier was pleasant and knowledgeable .. now , I watched the person preparing our food go outside with gloves , she prepared the food with open dirty doors, come back and go straight to touching the food , same thing with a cook , my dad always said u cook ! That is all u do , cashiers handle the money and cooks cook .. change Yr gloves.. please..! Also , they need to learn to cook the food at the same time our burgers sat there waiting for their sides and by the time we got our burgers , they were cold . They don’t live up to their name , and I give them a two star only , because the cashier was very nice .Clean Yr lobby , when leaving the grilling area , change Yr gloves .. anything to do with food , it’s a delicatcy. After shaving off my buns .. food was not great . The fries were the only hot item , the reason our burgers got cold . The fries were ok only because the topping hid the soggy texture.. hmm , 🍟 seems to scream , I sat in a basket before , they added toppings ? When , fries are fresh , they are alert not soggy . Would ? I go back maybe in another five years .. $50.00 for cold food , unsanitary food preparation , dirty lobby. Iam good . I’ll stick to my favorite spot “ The King of...
Read moreIt feels slightly upgraded from a true fast food burger joint with their panera bread style ordering system (place your order and payment up front, take a seat with your number anywhere, and they bring your food out to you).
While I do enjoy their burgers from time to time, it is a bit on the greasier side. Fries are okay, a tad bland and sometimes seem to go soggy quick. In terms of offerings, a burger (single or double), a turkey burger option, a chicken sandwich, and a veggie burger (beyond meat patty) are all available. They do allow you to pick and choose toppings, with some additional options for cheese, bacon, and a fried egg for an addition up charge are available. For sides, regular fries, sweet potato fries, or a side salad are available. Overall a simplified menu with just a handful of options and ability to customize to your liking is what they aim for.
I seem to find myself coming back for their beyond burger from time to time. While I wouldn't say it's the healthiest of foods you could consume, it does bring some satisfaction knowing that I've eaten more veggies for a sitting.
Anyways, all around a good option to keep in the affordable meals rotation. Service is quick. Place is usually clean and doesn't seem to ever get too...
Read moreThe food 5 stars. Service? FAT ZERO. I went into Epic Burger for the second time today. I went in with a friend and it was her first time. First time I went the food was great and so was the service. However, this second visit was absolutely terrible. Just completely unprofessional. The woman at the register wasn't listening to me so I had to keep repeating myself. "May I have the fresh cut fries and a skinny vanilla shake" she says "what type of fries" I lean closer and reply "Im sorry?" She raises her voice "WHAT TYPE OF FRIES?" I reply "the fresh cut. Not sweet potato" she says "what kind of shake" you get the point. She kept on yawning and wouldn't listen to me. At the end I hand her my credit card. After she charges me, she doesn't hand me my card, she throws it on the FLOOR and says "oh sorry" and smirks. I knew she didn't mean her apology. I picked it up and walked away. She made my visit regrettable and I don't plan to go back to that restaurant. What was her name? I wish I knew. For some reason not a single employee had a name tag. But I can describe what she looked like. African American, mid 20's, very tight curls, wore her hair up, 2/4 of her hair towards the ends is all blonde. Avoid getting service from her....
