I've been playing trading card games for almost two decades now and have never found an environment like this to play in. The new owner is one of the single most kind hearted and generous human beings I've ever met. Jesse (the owner) is the kind of guy who I have seen on multiple occasions pull a card out of his own deck and just give it to a player in need. He has dedicated himself to cultivating a wonderful, inclusive, and positive environment where everyone can feel welcome.

I have spent countless hours at this store, my wife has joined us and enjoyed games, and I'll continue to be a customer for life.

While this establishment was welcoming with its community before the new owner, Jessie has taken it to a whole new level. He will personally help you find a play group if you are to shy to walk up to people and ask. He is more than willing to bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable as if this is his own home. There are so many kind people and you are bound to make at least one new friend after spending a day there. I would be lying if i said i don’t consider this a second home date i say a person safe space where i go to relax/brighten my day. It is one of the few reason i question if moving away is worth it because i doubt i will find a space...

Very accommodating for my TTRPG group! No other store in Chico would/could host us and they've made us feel welcome every time we play. The other people who hang out in the store have been super friendly, too. A few of them even joined our D&D table! The store has the best pricing for dice I've seen around Chico. I think the "basic" dice there are about 5$. Other locations that sell dice are usually 10$ minimum. They also have solid selection of D&D books, most of which are the gorgeous special...
