Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Chico

I’ve purchased many small and large cakes at the Chico location. The cakes are wonderful. However, I purchased a small cake today as a snack and the owner would not give me a fork to eat it with. I even asked to purchase one. He never acted like he felt bad for not being able to give one and instead was on the defense. He started in an all his reasons in a rude manner. He claimed it puts him in another tax bracket. I said well, then maybe you shouldn’t sell the small cakes that people would purchase as a snack on the go. His reply was “thanks for telling me how to run my business.” Well, thanks for causing me to have to run to Starbucks and purchase something I don’t need just to get a fork. I told him I wouldn’t be back then and he stated “Ok.. That’s fine.” If his attitude would have been apologetic for the inconvenience then I would have felt differently. It’s all in the attitude. I ordered a cake and 2 dozen bundtinis for my daughter’s birthday. I live in southern CA and ordered by phone. I wanted them delivered to her work place as a surprise. The person I spoke with was very helpful! My daughter was pleasantly surprised and told me the delivery person was also very polite and helpful. She sent me pictures and I was surprised at how lovely everything was! She said the carrot cake was moist and delicious. Her co-workers also said the assorted bundtinis were yummy! They also loved the frosting! The pictures made me wish I lived closer so I could enjoy the cakes. I would definitely order...

My husband thought he had completed an order online. We went to pick it up, but when we arrived at the location, it was already closed. The girl working there opened the door to let us know it was closed, but when I told her we had an order to pick up, she checked anyway. It turned out our order never went though.
