All I had picked up was a bag of gum. He was at the front on the computer typing very intently, where I waived and tried to say hi to get his attention. I sat there with no response despite me being directly in front of his face. I tried it a couple more times and nothing until another man walked up and he immediately asked “what can I do for you” and directed him to walk in front of me at the register. He still refused to look at me. I then walked out because I felt highly uncomfortable and discriminated against. Straightforward, great business. They give ¢50 per lb for weights like dumbbells and weights on the ends of barbells. You can buy or sell used equipment for Frisbee golf, snowboarding, hockey, soccer, baseball etc...they have a great selection to choose from it almost seems silly to buy new once you walk in and see the quality of their used items and the prices are low to fair nothing I saw was overpriced. They also offer a higher payout if you choose store credit when bringing them your used sports or fitness equipment, which makes sense. I would give 5 stars but I do think if they re-sold their nicer name brand stuff for a tad higher price they would also be able to give a better price for lightly used or new items that are brought in. Little disappointed. Purchased a treadmill 2.5 years ago from these guys. I called to troubleshoot a problem with the running belt not working. I suspected it was the motor. I was not expecting any type of warranty service, just help to decide if I should purchase a new one. The clerk said they had one for $800. I was willing to purchase it if they could deliver it to us (8 miles away). He went to ask the "manager" who said "the price of gas is high, we don't deliver" I told the clerk, I was trying to give them business if they could work with us. Short story long.
