I'm not much into craft stores, I usually like to go get what I want and get out pretty quickly. It is not the case with Hobby Lobby. I came with my wife because where looking for couple crafts for Christmas, we not only found the stuff we were looking for but after an hour and a half in the store I found so much for future projects that was amazing. I can tell you that the bathroom are make and female, the store is wheelchair friendly, the parking lot is handicap friendly, you are able to see the store thru the streets it's very visible, it is very close to freeway 54, If you're looking for cowboy art, letters, frames, contemporary art, crafts, clocks, yarn, make your own frames, fake flowers, silk flowers, model cars, airplanes, coffee cups, cows, moose, zoo animal decorations, wall art, motivational frame, motivational art, old pictures taken from the Yankee stadium, baseball memorabilia, racing stickers, iron work, iron bars, iron, wood, plastic, fiberglass letters at all kinds of sizes and colors. I loved the big aluminum letters. Maps, some DYI toys, Crystal bases, plastic bases, flower bases. Plastic models of miniatures, hand paints all kinds of colors, glue, glitter, glitter glue, American flags, baseball motifs , wooden balls, wooden flags, patio figures, wooden maps, patio toys, greeting cards, thank you cards, funny cards, motivational cards, small photo frames, small art projects and small crafts. This store is so amazing that it inspired me to take all the pictures I took. Last but not least the employees are so nice and kind. All the questions we asked them they answered with a smile. Very patient and knowledgeable. The cashier's were fast and no matter how busy the were they had a nice smile on their face. I'm planning on going back next week to get some thing to do for New year's day. They are very helpful and very nice. Take your time and enjoy the store you may find a treasure in it. I forgot to mentor of your looking for some Snoopy, Disney, marvel or DC character to decorate a room you will find it here. Also they have a lot of poems and things that you can use as frame to decorate.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Hobby Lobby recently. An employee CONSUELO was extremely rude to me and accused me of doing something wrong, which I absolutely did not do. The way I was spoken to was unprofessional and completely humiliating — I was made to feel embarrassed in front of other customers without any justification. Instead of addressing the situation with respect or asking questions calmly, the employee jumped to conclusions and treated me with suspicion. This is not how customers should be treated, especially when they’ve done nothing wrong. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Hobby Lobby, but this experience left a bad impression. I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously and ensures that staff are trained to handle situations more respectfully and professionally.

This was my first time in Hobby Lobby and I learned a few things. First, there were frames everywhere. Second, I can see why women of all ages love this store, because it's full of cute stuff that females love for their home. Third, it's full of frames. Fourth, you can buy stuff for every hobby you'll drop after three weeks and store in your closet for years. And lastly, frames. So to sum up, Hobby Lobby is Home Depot for women; prefect place for a first date walk about, a prefect place to drop off ones lady because she knows where you're going and she doesn't want go with you, a prefect place to get that "I'm sorry for calling you fat" gift card; men are not to go in alone because the store is set up like a woman's mind: an organized mess; and frames. I highly recommend it.

Hobby lobby Chula Vista San Diego 7:32pm .40 N North ave Chula Vista It was a Friday night and I was running to the store with my family to get a steering wheel cover . I was in a certain area where everyone else was shopping and I was looking at an item

my sister in law noticed a box that was open upon that she commented “this box is open” which is when we got greeted with the most rudest so called “manager “there “Martha “ short women with glasses assume she was Hispanic because she wanted to racially profile me .As I pick up an item “Martha” claims “if you would like to purchase an item from this area we have to take it up front “ keep in mind someone who was there before me with her daughter took something and “Martha “ didn’t tell her anything . Which is when this incident occurred I go up to grab the item “Martha claims “ if you would like to buy something from here I need to take it up “ so I politely ask “Martha , excuse me you say we have to take it up front why didn’t you take the women’s items infront of me “ Martha claims again “ if you would like to purchase an item I have to take it up front at this moment I’m feeling discriminated ,targeted and dissatisfied from this so called manger “Martha” who is being very disrespectful at this point . As I continue to shop with my family “Martha comments with her coworkers and talks bad upon me and my family I know this because my sister in law was walking behind her when she commented “ esos ninos se Miran como rateros “ which in English translates to “those children look like thief’s “ “Martha then cannot stand but to keep starring at me and my family which is at this moment I confront “martha “ and her disgraceful behavior and ask her “ why do you keep staring at me “ Martha claims she didn’t say nothing bad about me or she wasn’t starring at me when we caught her in her act multiple times every time we just felt a presence starring at us we would turn and it was Martha and her coworkers starring at us .”Martha then feels the need to call security to kick us out for her childish behavior me and my family willing walking out Martha comments on the way out “next time don’t steal “ at this moment I’m already very upset upon the fact she wanted to say that about me because I’m not that type of person . I’m not the only person to comment about Martha and this isn’t okay in no way she is no one special and has no authority over any human just because she’s a manager I would like to speak to higher authority upon Martha’s actions and be help accountability for...

CUSTOMERS BEWARE…. I LOVED shopping at this Hobby Lobby store. It was actually one of my favorite stores until last week. I visited this store last week and had some items I was going to purchase in my basket. I was on my cell phone talking with my husband as I grabbed one item ( an AirPod case) from the front end of the store and placed it in my basket along side of other items I was going to purchase. I noticed this older woman kept staring at me (mind you she was not dressed like she was an employee), but she had a hand truck as if she was stocking shelves. She finally turns around and blurts out to me. You know you are not allowed to be walking around with items from the front end of the store. So I turned around and looked at her because I did not know who she was talking to me. Nor did I know this was a rule of this or any other Hobby Lobby store. She then proceeded to move closer to me and abruptly reached in my basket and took 2 items out of my cart 😳 (mind you one item she took from my basket was not even from the front end of the store). Because I was in such shock and still on my cell phone talking with my husband while all of this was happening I never said anything to back her. No where in this store did I see a sign stating of such rules about not being able to shop around the store with items from the front end of the store. How did she know I was not going to go and purchase these items? I not only called Hobby Lobby‘s Headquarters to report this incident, but I called the store manager (Raffie) to also report the incident. Which then I was informed that this particular store has had an increase in theft so he has instructed his managers to approach any customers they might see with any type of electronical item from the front end of the store in their basket and ask them if it was ok to hold these items up at the register until they are ready to pay. Unfortunately this was not the case for me. SHAME ON YOU Hobby Lobby employee (Martha, who is a manager) for prematurely labeling/discriminating one of your valuable paying customer and treating them as a thief.

*Just a thought, If your having such a high percentage of theft problems you might want to invest in better security than having your managers reach into your customers baskets to take...

I love Hobby Lobby. Always had a good experience at all the the ones I've been to. The only thing I noticed is that if you look a certain way your going to notice that your being followed by people who work there. It's going to be super obvious when this happens. Last time I went over to this branch a lady not in uniform who's Hispanic and another employee in blue kept on showing up in every row that I was checking out. I came returning some oil paint , canvas , but I had also Geso that I got from Walmart. Even though I knew I was being followed I wasn't worried. I got some fine metallic gold marker that I use for my guitar builds. Less than a buck. I have bought so many things since they have almost everything you need. When I line up I saw the same lady come towards me screaming making sure everyone could hear to empty the bag. So I did. She took everything that was in the bag the other art stuff I got from Wal-Mart. She took the metallic marker and wouldn't let me pay for it. I told her I'm not stealing anything and why can't I just pay for it. She said no and they got me on camera. I told her that I bought the other things from Wal-Mart and I'm inline. She said no leave and don't ever come back. Everyone heard everything. Holy post menopause!!! I left the place feeling surreal and felt like I was in a weird dream. Questioning what just happened. I wish people would stop judging on how someone looks but we all do. But the big mistake that people that works in stores do is yelling and embarrassing someone who they think is shoplifting. I've spent so much money in Hobby Lobby. Maybe around 300.000 this year for my guitar projects. I didn't even think that a place like Hobby Lobby would have a shrinkage problem. The people who shoppe there don't seem the type that would shoplift pens or fake purple roses i mean what the point? I was a bit rattled at the experience and felt bad why she would want to yell at me. I have long hair I do look crazy at times but I was inline waiting my turn to pay. Hobby Lobby seems to be successful and the only place that has certain things. She said don't come back. I told her I would. She no you won't. I told her this isn't the only Hobby Lobby I shop at. I work out of town and work on my guitars on my downtime. No judgment...
