Dear Office Depot Customer Service,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent experience I had at your location. I visited your store intending to drop off a pre-labeled FedEx box, a simple and routine task. However, what should have been a quick and straightforward process turned into a nightmare of inefficiency and frustration.
Upon arriving at the store, I was required to sign in, which seemed unnecessary for a task as basic as dropping off a package. I asked the Copy and Print Manager if I needed to sign in, even though I was just dropping off the box and she replied "Sign In". I complied, expecting a brief wait before being able to complete my errand. To my dismay, I received a text saying the wait time would be a staggering 62 minutes before finally being attended to.
This lengthy wait time is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the level of customer service provided by your establishment. As a customer, I value my time, and having to waste over an hour just to complete a simple task is utterly unacceptable.
To add insult to injury, while waiting at your location, I became so frustrated with the delay that I decided to drive to a nearby Walgreens location to drop off the package instead. To my disbelief, I was able to complete this task and return back to my job before receiving a text notification from Office Depot indicating that it was my turn in line. This level of inefficiency is beyond comprehension and only serves to underscore the inadequacies of your customer service system.
I understand that there may be occasional delays or busy periods, but this level of inefficiency indicates a significant problem with your operations. Waiting for such an extended period just to drop off a package is not only inconvenient but also reflects poorly on the overall customer experience.
I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the issues that led to this unfortunate experience. Customers should be able to rely on your store for efficient and courteous service, and my recent encounter fell far short of those expectations.
Now I understand the lack of competent leadership is attributing to the downfall of...
ย ย ย Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. First of all, I made an order online and the system multiplied my order so many times. It was supposed to be only like $50 US Dollars and since it multiplied it so many times it ended up charging me like $500 US Dollars. Fortunately, I had the money in my bank account bc otherwise, I would have been charged an overdraft fee with my bank. When I called Office Depot to cancel the other multiplied orders, they were playing stupid and didnt want to cancel them - saying I was the one who put them. They didnt want to do anything about it. I kept calling trying to reach a supervisor and they were all playing stupid on the phone. Honestly, it seems like a scheme to make more money that Office Depot has bc if you go online - it tells you the system multiplies orders. I was polite and all when calling - but come on, they playing with my money. Then, I thought I would report them as fraud to the bank - which I did. However, I thought these people most likely wont give me an address to return their pencils and I want this to be over. I dont want to worry about this anymore. I have more things to worry about. I called the bank and said I would keep the multiplied orders bc I dont want to deal with it anymore. However, when I actually open the boxes I notice that the pencils are fake - you sharpen them and the tip keeps breaking. They are literally trash. I had called the bank to let them know but they didnt care bc I had said I would keep them. Bank pretty much said now you deal with it. Honestly, I would suggest dont buy online with office depot bc you risk getting charged so much more than you initially intended. Secondly, Ticonderoga pencils in transparents plastic boxes are fake - dont buy them. For real, don't even bother. I tried going to my local store so they could fix it - they said call online and calling online was trash - they never helped. They would hang up on me, play the "tranfer the phone game", and just them trying to let time pass. It was disgusting. Their customer service online is trash. Now, I'm stuck with a ridiculous amount of pencils that are...
ย ย ย Read moreDo not bother coming to this location. They close whenever the heck they feel like it. Their website says they close at 9pm during the week, yet their paper door sign says 8pm and guess what? Several times I been there at 7pm and their doors are already closed. They also shut down the printers whenever they feel like it. I had several negative experiences with them but as a dork I kept giving them more chances but today was the last one ever and I'm done with office depot. They close at 6pm and I walked in at 5:20 and get told from across the room that printing is closed for the evening but I am there for shredding and of course they said they're closed for that too and sorry. Fyi: for shredding which i had done it there before they just have to charge you, open the bin and you toss all of the stuff in there. Of course that is too much for them to handle 40 min before closing. I don't know if they do whatever they want because there's never a manager or if the manager location is the one who is the lazy one. They clearly don't need my money so I will go to FedEx Office instead. Even if its more expensive I don't care to be honest. This is a total example of quality over price. You've been warned. Expect 0 from this Office...
