so this is the second time that this has happened in a row. I really enjoy their nachos, but the chips are really stale. At this point I feel like it's being done on purpose because the cheese is hot and they probably think we can't tell But I can honestly tell in every bite. I didn't even finish it because I don't like to eat stale chips.
Update: so I went in today for tostilocos for someone else and I decided to try the nachos again because they were restocked and I was hoping they were not stale. That was not the case and I had to go back. When I asked for an exchanged she told me that she had to reach out to her manager and when she came back she told me that all of the chips were new because she had just opened a bag. I told her that they are stale and chewy and there's no crunch at all and if they're from the same bag then it's a no for me. Then she went on to tell me that they get stale because of the heat from the nacho cheese and I said no that's not what hot cheese does to chips and I insisted for her to try one (not from mine but from a new one). Then she just cut it short and was like "what do you want? more nachos or your money?" I ended up choosing something else after i suggested it. The customer service of this place is not good. She handled the situation poorly and tried to dismiss me because she didn't want to deal with me. The conversation was very one sided. At this point I will take my...
Read moreDon't let the long line make you think it's poppin. It's long because the service is really slow. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it's a new business however the manager (assuming because he is at the register and not wearing uniform) he is beyond slow, he'd grab the lids spoons and straws like he is in slow motion. He also grabs the spoons straws and lids with his hands instead of letting you grab them. The same hands he uses to grab everyone's cards and cash to make the payment, I had to throw my straw away.
All the customers don't keep their distance and the way to pay for your order is just a MESS. I paid over $9 for two items, I got the agua de sandia because someone order it and it looks amazing! However it was super sweet, I like the chunks of watermelon but it seems like they added too much sugar. I also ordered the mangoneada for my girlfriend and they are super stingy on the candy and chamoy, they topped it with 5 pieces of candy and it barely had any chamoy and had to ask the guy for more (people in front also had to ask for more). They also don't display the prices and we asked the lady and she wouldn't tell us ?? Why, I don't know.
The place is big, looks very very nice but overall I don't know, my first experience wasn't what I...
