Pho Hung Cali 2 — Restaurant in Chula Vista

I’m very furious leaving this place I brought my son who’s 3 years old and he was playing with the spoon I get it he loves to drum. But when the server came and start yelling at my son. HEY YOU CANT DONT DO THAT !!!! And kept on staring and wait for him to do with a nasty look. I couldn’t help but told the server you know what I can’t eat here I’m goin to leave. And approached us in a rudely manner and the person from the kitchen basically went out also. I said you can’t talk to my kid like that and he said yelling you don’t teach your kid manner. He is 3 years old you nearly traumatized him !! He said get of here LEAVE ! he is very rude. We had a man listening to us the whole entire time outside he event felt bad and he agreed with us. I left crying the place of how I am very upset. Once I was leaving I saw the man we were talking to went inside and approached them also. Never ever going back here again definitely not...

Quality, services.. but the SPEED is incredible! As in.. you won't believe how fast it is.

I've been here several times but today was the day I would test them. I sat down and told them I was ready to order right away, #26 house special pho. 2:12pm. Water served 15 seconds later. Food was out at 2:15pm. Literally minutes. Just.. incredible. Steaming hot.

I understand it's not difficult to put together but it makes lunch breaks last LONGER because you're not wasting time WAITING. I love it.

And it's soooooo good. Incredibly delicious. Try some banh mi, too. It's like a Vietnamese "torta" or sandwich. Gaaah.

And the service.. they seem so happy to serve you. Water is refilled AS SOON AS YOU SIP. They're on standby and ready for requests.

Please give them a visit. They deserve...

The banh mi here is really good—the bread is fresh, soft, and gets that nice crispy texture. The marinade has great flavor, and they use fresh veggies, though I do wish they’d add a little more jalapeño. The rare steak pho was decent—not bad at all, but it didn’t exactly wow me.

One thing I really appreciate is how clean and approachable the restaurant feels. There’s tons of parking, the booths are nice and comfortable, and I love how bright the space is thanks to the big windows letting in all that natural sunlight. The service is friendly, which is always a plus.
