I came here to return items from Amazon. When I walked up to the counter, a young woman with no name tag told me that she could only take 1 of my returns because she only had 1 label left. I asked if she could try to find more labels, and she responded with, "no, not today." I asked if she could at least try to find some in the back, and she said "well, I'd have to go look."
She walked away and started talking to her coworkers over the walkie talkie. I don't think she wanted me to hear what she said, but there was another walkie talkie sitting on the counter, so I heard everything. I heard her say very clearly, "there's this weird, rude lady here, and she won't leave until I take her returns. I already told her that I ran out of labels, but she's making me look for more."
When she came back to the counter with a new roll of labels, she started bagging the returns. She had one of the items in her hand, so I showed her the QR code for that item. She then asked what the item was, so I told her. Then she said, "no, what item is that code for?" So I told her it was for the item in her hand. She looked at me like I was stupid and said, "ma'am, I don't know what you bought." I said, "I know you don't know what I bought, that's why I showed you the QR code for the item in your hand." So again she said with an even bigger attitude, "ma'am, I don't know what you bought." I tried explaining again that I was showing her the QR code for the item that she was working on, but she just kept getting more upset with me. At this point, she's talking to me like I'm a child and rolling her eyes every time I speak.
First of all, is it weird and rude to expect someone to do the job they're being paid to do? No.
Second, did I "make" her do her job? No, I simply requested that she do her job.
And third, did I give her a legitimate reason to make those comments about me to all of her coworkers when I could hear her? Again, the answer is no.
She was thin, about 5'5", and had long hair that went from dark brown to reddish blond. Your customers do not deserve to be treated like this, especially for simply expecting your employees to do their job. Honestly, she shouldn't be allowed to work in customer service if she's so willing to treat your...
Read morePrinting department is horrible here. They donât have anyone whoâs trained to properly work/maintain the printing equipment. I ordered poster prints online, and they were printed efficiently as I got an email same day for pick up. When I arrived, the woman showed me the prints to check everything was ok, and there were black streaks running the length of the prints. I explained to her that itâs due to dirty printer heads and needed to be cleaned (I was a photography major and spent a lot of time with large printers), but she insisted on printing a 2nd time even after I told her it would come out the same (it did). I asked for a refund, and she didnât know how to issue a refund...neither did the other employee. She had to call someone, who sounded like she didnât know how either. She said she could do something in their system to cancel the order and it would issue a refund automatically.
The gentleman working the checkout was on the phone and hung up as I was leaving the store, followed by a loud âJesus Christâ and slamming his hand on the counter. Even though he wasnât part of the printing transaction experience, it was just more reason to not want to shop there again.
This happened on a Friday evening...by Monday I still didnât see the refund on my account so contacted online chat support and was told the refund was never issued, so they issued it for me then.
I wish stores like these were better since they are on the verge of shutting down due to the conveniences of online ordering and shopping. But when the customer experiences are like this, itâs drives...
Read moreI came into the store to get a banner printed off and waited like 5 minutes before the lady came back to the counter after she seen me and another customer come into the store. Anyway I asked about the banner she was very nonchalant didnât even ask like she wanted to help me. So I proceeded to ask about the banners she told me that I had to go online to do it. She never assists to show me or anything of that nature she proceeded to pretend like she was still doing something in the store around the store. She was walking over to another customer. Iâm asking where the banner was at she pointed down on around the corner from where I was standing when I tell you, her customer service sucked, and she showed that she did not want to assist me and no shape former fashion. I wanted my banner done today. She told me that due to her being too busy she couldnât do it today. Itâs only 12:20 pm as I speak p.m. and they donât close until 5 oâclock. She doesnât have a line thereâs not a lot of people in the store besides me and another customer. If she didnât want to do the banner, Iâm not understanding. Why would she tell me to go online to proceed to do and make the banner but again once I started putting the banner in or trying to figure it out on my own thatâs when her name by the way is Cheyenne, tell me she canât do it today and it is same day services for the banners. This location has never been a problem to me but I see that Their employees do not like their job. I will not come...
