I'm sorry but moving the Octoberfest back up to 5th St. is a disaster. my wife and I have gone for years and always enjoy it, great people, food and drink. Buy moving it to 5th St. it just creates a huge bottleneck that is almost impossible to navigate with the huge crowds. The lack a signs or maps showing vendor locations made it impossible to find certain vendors. We still had fun but left earlier than we normally would have, just because it was too hard to walk around and find what you wanted. Please move it back to the Banks, despite what the Bengals want. : / 2024 Update: Absolutely terrible! The new Riverfront location is just ok for us, the best food vendors were set up at the two farthest ends of the event. Between the Vape vendors???the Ohio lottery and other garbage vendors as well as copious amounts of country music I would hardly call this an Octoberfest anymore! The Miller Coors booth was selling a bottle of beer for $8 and the souvenir cup for $9 empty! No reason to get the cup anymore it cost the same $9 to refill it. Another booth, Royal Berlin Chef selling the most god awful brats and metts, tastes like they were boiled, not one brown mark on it. Weâve been doing Octoberfest in Cincinnati for almost 30 years, one of the wurst ever. Canât say weâll be back, not that...
Read moreOver hyped, but was a pretty good time. Have been to Munich's Oktoberfest, this is no comparison. Just a large street fair. Only a few tents, which are very tiny. Food and beer prices are very high ($10 for a 20oz beer, as bad as NFL stadiums) and no mass beers. Lines for food, beer, and bathrooms are all very long on Saturday. Friday not so bad. Beer selection not great, only 3 German beers, and only 1 of those from Munich (Spaten - the worst of the Munich 6). They've got Hofbrahaus less than a mile away, yet Sam Adams is the sponsor? I'd suggest going there for a better...
Read moreMy wife and i went in 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed all four days. Everyone was very friendly and we didn't witness any rowdy behaviour in spite of the amount of beer that was consumed. Everyone was having a great time and the weather was outstanding. Saturday was the most crowded day. It was also very clean. There was very little trash on the ground as people were constantly going around picking it up. A big shout out to the folks from Rumpke. There was never an overflowing trash can as they were constantly swapping them out. They also serviced the porta...
