Walking into Lily Saratoga and Styled by Lily Saratoga is walking into a fairytale. Surrounded by Laura and the Lily lady fairy godmothers and their magic in making each bride feel beautiful, respected, and appreciated. I purchased the most extraordinary Martina Liana ivory lace gown for our 2020 wedding that had to be rescheduled several times because of COVID. Laura and the ladies kept in touch the whole time and each time I would get a message or call from them I felt the exuberance or my upcoming wedding all over again. When I was feeling particularly blue because of the postponements, I visited Laura just to be treated like a princess for a day and walked out with a spectacular custom Essence of Australia ballgown! I was hesitant about two dresses but Laura so graciously reassured me that the Martina gown with its beautiful train would be perfect for our ceremony and the Essence gown was made for an old world ballroom. And after four postponements, why not treat myself! That’s the support and empowerment Lily Saratoga provides to all women. There is no need for any other shop - every accessory came from Lily including my veil, Badgley Mischka shoes, jewelery, and even my mom’s jewelry - all exquisitely hand-picked by Laura to match perfectly. She even helped with the groomsmen’s tuxes in ensuring everything would be perfectly coordinated Laura helped me pick out seven gorgeous Sorella Vita bridesmaid dresses to fit each style and personality of my bridesmaids and could not be more accommodating with every request and every need. I also had the great pleasure of Laura attending our wedding and personally driving down my gowns and veil and putting me in both dresses on my wedding day. Exactly as it should have been. I can’t say enough about Styled by Lily Saratoga! When my MOH dress came in, I was quite worried because of how big it was. My bust, waist, and hips are 3 different sizes, and we had decided to order the largest of the sizes based on the recommendations from the consultant. It was so big in the waist and bust that alterations were going to cost a fortune. It was basically like they were going to have to reconstruct the entire top of the dress to make it work. The owner worked with us until we were happy with the outcome. We met with her seamstress for her input and also discussed options of returning the dress and ordering another, or purchasing one off the rack. We ultimately decided to purchase a different dress from them off the rack and they were more than reasonable about all of it! All of the staff were fantastic and the owner was so kind and helpful. I had my first experience at Styled by Lily today and I cannot wait to return. I scheduled to specifically see the LulaKate offerings after discovering the brand online. Styled by Lily is the only dress shop in the area to carry this line. I was not disappointed; the fabrics were as beautiful and luxurious as the gowns were gorgeous. I did purchase a different designer, but will definitely return to purchase LulaKates. This was, without hesitation, the most perfect experience and atmosphere to purchase my dress. The boutique was warm and inviting, filled with natural light, and my stylist, Sarah, was able to pull dresses within my budget that complimented my 6’ tall frame and made me feel mesmerizing.
