Absolutely disgusted and appalled by the complete lack of compassion and empathy at this location - but maybe Uniqlo in general. Apparently there is a no bathroom policy at this store which is somewhat understandable since itâs a clothing store and all, but itâs also the sole store in the building theyâre in - so absolutely no bathrooms is a deliberate and inconsiderate choice to start. I could see not letting a big adult like me use it there bathroom if I asked - Iâm an adult. When my 2 1/2 year old had an accident in the store however, there was clearly no question that they had no sympathy whatsoever. Obviously no one on the job there today is a parent, but I digress.
Iâve known enough people thatâve worked in retail that you can help a kid out thatâs in need. Not at Uniqlo Ridge Hill it seems. I was forced to walk outside with my daughter whoâs now soaked to hopefully find a bathroom somewhere else.
When I finally did find a place to clean my daughter up, I came back to return the workout clothes I had just purchased earlier. Not only will I never be returning to this location, but I may never buy Uniqlo again. This entire interaction has left a terrible impression. The manager, Carina, making me out to feel crazy for being upset at this entire fiasco was the icing on the cake too. I get that they have a âpolicyâ, but the utter lack of humanity to the whole thing is disturbing and if I were them I would reconsider the company Iâm working for.
I know Carina doesnât care that my money is going elsewhere, but maybe...
Read moreIf I could give minus stars, I would give minus 5 stars!!! I just had a terrible experience with both the sales person AND the manager on duty. I bought two vests early this afternoon and when I got home, both vests still had the security tag on. So I had to drive back to get them removed. That salesperson wasn't there so I asked another person to take it off. He shrugged and said "At least it wasn't me." And took it off. Appalled by the poor professionalism, I asked if they could at least pay for my parking since it was their fault that I had to drive all the way back, pay for parking ($4) and go back to their store. When he refused, I asked to see the manager who came and all he said was "We don't validate parking ma'am. IAnd all we can say is I'm sorry." There was not an ounce of sincerity in his voice and after a few other exchanges (that I will not write here) I left the store making sure they understood that I will NEVER shop there again. It is terribly disappointing because I had always had great experiences with Uniqlo customer service, and I had always wondered if it was because the company was based in Japan. This kind of customer is a bad reflection on the brand and that's why I was terribly disappointed since love their products. Just from this experience, I will not look at...
Read moreWould NOT recommend getting pants here.
This location is clean, not crowded, and has a decent selection of clothing.
Uniqlo pants are one size then you give them to tailor to your specific length. No biggie.
I bought a pair of the pleated menâs pants with invisible hem. Measured and have them take 2 inches off the bottom. Standard at any Uniqlo location.
Turn around was 2 days; again no big deal.
Went to pick them up and was horrified at the tailoring service. I got a monstrosity of a butchered attempt at the invisible hem. Take a look at the photo for yourself.
The grey one is supposed to be how invisible hems are done.
The lopsided clearly visible hem on the beige is what Iâm stuck with.
Since they were altered, Uniqlo policy is no refunds or exchanges.
Suggestion for the store: switch your tailor or just please donât offer something you canât...
