The mall itself was really nice. All the the salespeople we encountered was very helpful and courteous. After walking from store to store shopping for about 3 hours I had to use the bathroom really bad and when we found it there was a man cleaning the ladies room, my husband went into the men's room while I waited for the man to finish. I was pacing back and fourth I had to go really bad. When he finished he closed the door and went to the men's room. I asked if I could go in now and he didn't answer me so I asked again and he just ignored me so I went to go in and the door was locked I asked him again to use the bathroom and he said "it's closed" in a very rude tone. My husband tried to ask if he would please let me use the bathroom and again he just ignored us. I was so mad I wanted to turn his bucket of water over, but I didn't. I just turned and took off speed walking praying to find another bathroom before things could get worse ... lol. It was not a good ending to a great shopping trip. We didn't even get to have dinner. I was done after the shenanigans of the...
Read moreWhat is this parking ticket scam?! They "ticket" you even after paying LOL. Be careful, many people have had fraud charges occur after using the parking QR code app, and they sell your personal data (that must be input to use their app). They got in trouble back when the developer was ticketing cars in the metered street spots (not allowed by the city of Yonkers to be metered). So same old tricks and scams huh?! Not to mention this is ridiculous for handicap or elderly individuals who cannot navigate the dumb app nor use a smartphone. By the time you locate and walk to a kiosk to pay (which they dont even advertise as an option), guess what...a "ticket" lol. Not worth it, lots of empty stores, other places to shop nearby. Greed and stupidity have been the downfall of many, I suspect Ridge Hill will...
Read moreThe Ridge Hill is a mini city within the confines of Yonkers, New York. It has a lot of nice places to shop. The parking is on one end of the spectrum and you have to walk to everything so it could be difficult if you're handicapped. If you're lazy, then forget it. It has some nice restaurants and doctor's offices and movie theaters and retail stores. They've increased the amount of property to rent which will fill these stores up with people for sure. This shopping center / neighborhood is fairly pricey. You can't be poor to live here or dying or shop. It certainly not the Cross County shopping Center but it's worth a trip and visiting. I believe parking is free now and it's not busy Monday through Thursday but Friday, Saturday and Sunday it's very congested. Come here and spread the...
