I just had to hop on here and leave a review about the icy situation at Fresh and fresh through this awesome platform. Seriously, this place is colder than the Arctic, and it’s driving me and my kids bananas! I’ve complained to the store employees multiple times about their air conditioning being set to “polar bear mode,” but it’s like my words disappear into thin air. They just don’t seem to care one bit! Can you believe it? 🤷‍♀️ Every time we step into this supermarket, it’s like stepping into a deep freezer. My poor kiddos can’t handle it, and to be honest, neither can I! It’s a mad dash to grab what we need and dash out into the warm embrace of normal temperatures. I mean, seriously, folks! How hard is it to adjust the thermostat a smidge higher? We’re not Eskimos here; we’re just regular customers trying to buy groceries without getting frostbite! It’s beyond frustrating, and it’s safe to say we won’t be returning...

I’m disappointed. I was excited for an Asian Market on this side of town but I’ve been to this one a couple times and have unfortunately received terrible service every time. Employees are hard to find because of their casual attire and lack of name-tags. Always seem to be on their phones, including while at the register. I’ve had to wait each time to be checked out because everyone seemed to disappear. This most recent time the girl acted like I was an annoyance by sighing heavily and then proceeding to check me out. I’m never greeted or asked if I could be helped. I’ve worked in retail for the past 3 years and I’m baffled at how customer service at this store is displayed (or not). Today my husband and I were excited to buy more vegetables from this place. I wanted to try new vegetables aside from our usual bok choy, mushrooms, green onions and peppers. I kindly asked an employee for a recommendation. One young man said that the organic was “obviously” better than the nonorganic and laughed in my face. Another employee told me in Spanish that she didn’t speak English, so I asked for her help in fluent Spanish. She still couldn’t help me. We are excited to support small business, but if they are rude and cannot or choose not to help, then they don’t need our money. There are other places in town and we will go elsewhere instead.
