I used enjoy food from here. A month ago I ordered online and when I went to pick the food, the female cashier told my daughter and me to pull our mask down to reveal our faces to her, very loud and aggressively while we were walking towards the register. When I got to the register she said "May I help you?"...I said I ordered online. She said I don't see it. Then two more people who weren't of color like my daughter and I walked in and she was more than happy to help, she was very polite and did not ask either of them to "pull their mask down to reveal there faces." She gave them a very warm welcome. So I showed her where it was taken out of my account and she told there was a location on Fort Campbell blvd but it's just called King Mao. I was on the other side of town when I googled it. I had no idea there were two locations. I'm relieved that didn't give my money to this location because of this. I used to find it convenient because it's down the street from where I live, but now I'll stick with the Original King Mao across town. I found that I always have stomach pains after eating at New King Mao. The other location has a drive thru window so there no is in close contact...

Ordered two dinners and some add on items. One dinner a combo shrimp with lobster sauce had very good flavor sauce and firm tasty shrimp. The “fried rice” was nothing more than bland steamed yellow rice with a few frozen peas and carrot chunks tossed in the mix. The second dinner a Sweet & Sour Chicken was nothing to rave about and with the bland rice it would lose to a microwave meal in a blind taste contest.
Egg rolls are unusually small in size with filling lacking texture. They were cooked crisp and presented well. These egg rolls were not a prime product more like something you would find on an all you can eat buffet line. Filling lacked color and flavor would not order again.
The star of the meal and only item I would recommend is the Teriyaki Chicken on the Stick appetizer for $7.95 you get 4 skewers. Very flavorful, cooked perfectly and moist.
The young man at the counter was very polite and took my order promptly. Service was excellent.
If I was ever to order again I would pick appetizers and avoid the rice dishes. Maybe try the Lo-Mein...
Read moreI’ve ordered door dash 3x from here now in hopes I caught them on a busy day to excuse the poor quality food. The food was prepared and delivered fast - that’s why I’m giving 2 stars. Other than that, all times we’ve received our food, the meat was highly overcooked and chewy to the point of not being able to swallow. The rice was undercooked and hard. The lomein we received was 99% vegetables and no noodles. The meat has been the biggest disappointment. We ordered beef lomein, sesame chicken and other entrees before. All times the sesame chicken has felt like you’re chewing on plastic which is disappointing because the sauce/seasoning is great in taste. Same for the lomein, sauce and seasoning is great but the noodle to everything else ratio is off as well as the meat being to...
